"I didn't find what I wanted on the menu, but that was no issue! I ordered a burrito filled with machaca, potatoes, beans, and green sauce, all served with a delightful Christmas sauce (red and green—I enjoy both!). The portions are enormous; I was able to get four meals from just one burrito. My friend chose the pollo fundido, served enchilada style, and managed to eat half of this massive dish before admitting defeat and asking for a to-go box.
The machaca wasn’t very spicy, but it was tasty. However, the layering in the burrito could have been improved; I would have liked to get a bit of everything in each bite, as the machaca was on one side and the potatoes on the other. It’s a minor point, but it made a difference. I also tried a Mexican Mule, which combines tequila and ginger beer. It was a bit unusual at first, but I got used to it. The salsas were great—there was a hot sauce and a chunky mild one."
