"There were 4 of us...2 adults and 2 small kids. We went there for the first time during the big freeze when everything else was closed. I hate buffets, so we've always avoided them. We were desperate for a hot meal after 3 days of no power, so we decided to give it a try. To our surprise, they had regular menus allowing us to skip the buffet and order fresh food. We ordered Orange chicken, house combo fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, some spring rolls and 4 drinks. We were doing family style. After we were done, the waitress told us the kids could get dessert off the buffet (ice cream, pudding, jello, cookies, etc). They each got a small cup of ice cream. We then went to the register to check out, and the check out girl charged us for 2 additional buffets...like $15 each. We told her we didn't get any buffets. She barely spoke English, and she argued, saying she saw the kids go up there. We explained that the waitress told them they could. Then the waitress acted like she didn't know what was going on, and she suddenly lost her ability to speak English as well. We were furious. We paid, but we will NEVER go back. Food wasn't too bad.....but they lost a family of 4 as customers for life over $30. Then they did the EXACT same thing to our friends who were eating with us. They actually raised hell and exchanged words with them. What made the whole situation worse is that they only accepted CASH....and all the ATMs were without power. We barely had enough cash to cover our meals and our friends meals after Jake's stole $60 from us. Ridiculous."
