"Has a pretty honest name for a business. It's fast. China Fast Wok is a typical looking carryout. Even though it has indoor seating, there's hardly anyone ever eating inside. The boring atmosphere is a reason, but this is also popular for delivery so many don't actually make it all the way here to get something. After placing an order by phone, I came and got it. It's a pretty nondescript Chinese place in a strip mall. There's only a few tables. Most people seem to get carryout. The menu has a lot of basic Chinese American stuff. Cheap for food. The lunch portions are plenty. Has many vegetarian friendly choices. Last time I got the Kung Pao Tofu. It's about $7 at lunch. The tofu was crispy without being burnt like how they do at many cheap Chinese restaurants. Good spice to it. There were plenty of pieces of tofu. Better than expected. It still wasn't great of course but I could try here again some time. There's a lot in the tofu sections for vegetarians."

"I normally don’t post reviews but I have to give credit where it’s due. Honestly I want to thank Golden Wok. It is always my go to restaurant. They always have the quickest service and the food is always tasty and filling. With a busy job in healthcare, my day usually starts early and some days I don’t always have the time to bring my lunch from home. Golden wok has been there to save my day and deliver great food quick to me on several occasions. They always give you the best portions, and they have wonderful service. Very hard working and friendly! It upsets me to see even 1 negative review on this place. Honestly people are so rude and just want something to complain about. Thanks again Golden Wok! You guys are the best!!"

"The food here is usually good, but my visit today was very disappointing. I often request extra soy and duck sauce with my order, and it has never been a problem in the past. However, the woman behind the counter, who typically takes my order, reacted negatively when I politely asked for more sauce. She said, "I already gave you 5!" I should note that was 5 packets total, not 5 of each, and I had a lot of rice that needed sauce. I responded, "Okay, but can I have some more?" I was even willing to pay if necessary. Then, she came out from the back, handed me 1 soy sauce and 1 duck sauce, and abruptly said, "HERE!" before slamming the door in my face. Her rude behavior was uncalled for, especially in front of other customers. There are many Chinese restaurants to choose from, so I won’t be returning to this one."

"I absolutely adore Hong Kong Cafe! It’s a charming little Chinese restaurant run by a lovely couple who are incredibly kind and provide outstanding service. The food is delicious, and the portion sizes are quite generous. I’ve visited twice for lunch and had a fantastic experience on both occasions. They have a great menu with plenty of vegetarian options. Right now, they’re offering a holiday promotion: if you spend $50, you receive a $10 gift voucher for future visits. Make sure to check out this place for some delicious and fresh Chinese cuisine!"

"I love a good buffet, the Happy Buffet in Liberty, Ohio is one of my go-to’s. It’s located a few minutes from where I live, so it is definitely a convenience. It’s a very spacious restaurant with plenty of tones booths. The hostess was super friendly let me choose my table. She then got my drink order and directed me to the buffet. The lunch and dinner buffet are very similar, both offering a great selection of Chinese American foods. The buffet itself is well maintained by the staff, very clean well stocked. I have always found the food here very tasty, hot (temperature) well prepared. I usually make a few trips and get a good selection. I find their dessert selections is very generous, I always finish my dining here with a few tasty treats. I’ve never had a bad experience here, I think if you give it a try, you will definitely enjoy a solid buffet meal."

"I particularly loved the butter shrimp, cheesy crab, and, as always, the chicken with mushrooms, which is my favorite dish. I recommend visiting right after or during lunch to get the freshest options available. The owner was incredibly kind. After our meal, I took my kids outside and accidentally left my phone on the stoop. I was panicking when I realized it was outside on the sidewalk. I called the restaurant, and the owner went out to retrieve it for me. He kept it safe until I returned, and I couldn’t thank him enough for his help. I highly recommend this place! **Parking:** There’s public parking available in a shopping center lot with about two rows. **Kid-friendliness:** They have boosters and high chairs, along with kid-friendly options. Even my picky eater enjoyed the chicken, French fries, cookies, fruit, and ice cream."

"As a Florida native, I’ve been on the hunt for a high-quality Chinese restaurant in the Gahanna area, and I’ve finally found it! The food here is incredible! I ordered vegetable lo mein and a vegetable egg roll, and both exceeded my expectations. The lo mein was perfectly cooked—not dry or sticky like what I’ve encountered at many other places. The vegetables in the egg roll were fresh and delicious, encased in a wonderfully crunchy wrapper. Plus, the portion sizes are fantastic! I had previously found another restaurant close to home that I liked, but they were very stingy with their servings. This place is definitely my new favorite, and I won’t be looking elsewhere anymore. The food is exceptional, and the value for the portion sizes is the best I’ve seen among Chinese restaurants in Gahanna."

"I absolutely love this restaurant! For almost 20 years, I've been stopping by First Ave in Iowa City, and it's still my favorite spot for Asian cuisine. Despite some negative comments others have made, I've always found their food to be quickly prepared and incredibly delicious, all at a reasonable price! Today was the first time, in all those years, that my order was incorrect, and you won't believe how they handled it. The owner/manager personally came to my home to apologize! Now that's what I call outstanding customer service! If I could give more than 5 stars, I certainly would!"

"The food we had really wasn't all that good. The amount they're charging doesn't reflect the quality they are providing. They don't have fountain drinks and you have to buy individual cans of soda while there. The water tasted like pretty harsh tap water and I think they could also do better than that by adding a water softener or filter. I've had a lot of good Chinese food in my life and unfortunately, this place wasn't one of those places. I hope they take this as motivation to improve the quality of their food and not as me just being mean. The service was friendly but they also weren't very attentive as they could have been and seemed a bit overly assertive for us to order promptly. The atmosphere was overly generic, a bit laissez flair, and I think they could have improved upon it. Overall, I think they have a lot of room to improve upon and I do hope they do so."

"I can't really comment on the atmosphere since we always get takeout, but I imagine it's great based on the kindness of the woman I speak to when placing my order. She’s always very patient and friendly, even when it’s clear she’s incredibly busy! Although we aren't close, she's always been fair about making sure our food is delivered (so be sure to tip well) and is nice to the driver since he has a lot on his plate as well. As for the food, we've never had a bad meal. I recommend trying something new; you won't be disappointed as they have not a single dish that isn't delicious!"

"I have been ordering for many years from China House, last night I placed a large order and need to put most in the trash, the cold noodles were so spicy that they could no be eaten, the General Cho chicken was also over spiced. I called to complain and was offered a free General Cho on my next order. The order was $80 with the delivery and tip and the only about half of the food could be eaten. Last time for us. When I called I was told this is the way they always spice their food, not in the times before have I had to throw it out."
