"However, getting seated took some time, even though there was only one other customer when I arrived. That diner noticed my wait and kindly suggested I call the staff since no one was around for several minutes. Just as I was about to do that, someone finally came out from the kitchen to greet me. After that initial wait, the service was much quicker throughout the meal. As I was finishing up, the place got busier, which led to a longer wait to settle the bill. Given the small size of the venue, they could definitely benefit from having additional servers during busy periods instead of relying on just one person to handle the front.
The decor here is a bit outdated, and the small tables are wedged against the wall, resulting in some scuff marks on the painted surfaces. Although I didn’t find the place dirty, I wouldn’t describe the ambiance as particularly memorable. A little updating and more space for diners could go a long way. While I wouldn’t suggest this spot for a date or a special evening out, it works well for a quick and satisfying lunch – as long as they can serve you in a timely manner. Overall, I would rate it at 3.5 stars, but I could easily give it 4 or higher if it weren’t for the delays and if the decor were nicer."
