"Let's address the negatives first. There is a middle-aged woman with short hair who frequently works the register, takes orders, and serves customers. Unfortunately, she's not very suited for the front-of-house role. During my latest visit, I repeatedly asked for extra napkins, but she didn’t respond until I stood up to get her attention, only to find out she was wearing earbuds. She had loud YouTube videos playing on her phone, which disrupted the otherwise peaceful atmosphere. When I said thank you and goodbye, her only reply was, "Yeah." Thankfully, there is a younger woman who also handles orders and is much more friendly and professional. I have a suspicion that the older woman may own or run the restaurant.
**8/24 Amendment:** The service has significantly improved since my initial review. This restaurant now truly deserves 5 stars. That said, the quality of the food far outweighs the earlier service issues. It's the best Thai restaurant I've tried within a 25-mile radius. I usually order dishes spiced at a medium level, and while I think I could go for a bit more heat, the flavors are spot on, and the food quality is outstanding. Their Pad Thai is excellent, with just the right amount of fresh, crisp vegetables to balance the soft noodles. The curries are fantastic—especially the spicy green curry, which is a standout. They also offer great rice options, both brown and white, and the appetizers are delicious (the salad rolls and Golden Tofu are particularly noteworthy).
The prices are on the higher side for Thai food, with a meal for two to three people typically costing around $50-60, plus tip. Given the excellent quality of the food, I believe it’s worth the price. I try to refrain from being overly critical of local, family-run businesses, and I always tip generously, but I do wish they would improve their service. If they did, I would easily bump my rating up to 5 stars. As it stands, they deserve a solid 4 stars."
