"This was our second visit, with a group of seven, including two kids, and the food was just as amazing as last time! The chef really did a great job. I'm still giving it a five-star rating! However, I was surprised to see that our bill already included a 20% tip. I prefer to choose how much to tip myself, but since I added an extra amount, it ended up being quite substantial. When I called back to discuss it, the woman on the line wasn't very friendly. I understand that it can be frustrating, especially since we were informed that a mandatory tip applies when there are more than six people. In total, we ended up paying nearly $100 just in tips.
While I won't follow up today, it would have been helpful to know ahead of time that gratuity was included, or at least to be advised not to tip twice. Despite our love for the food and atmosphere, there are several other great seafood restaurants in the area, and we may choose to go to them in the future."
