"After we ate, we kept enjoying the ice-cold margaritas and cervezas. During my several trips inside to use the restroom, I couldn't help but notice the delicious-looking pizza pies people were enjoying. They looked amazing! On one of my returns to the seating area, I couldn't help but rave about how incredible the pizza appeared. Apparently, my friends had also noticed it during their restroom breaks. At that moment, we decided we would definitely come back to indulge in that enticing pizza that looked, smelled, and—I'm sure—tasted fantastic. But our night wasn't over just yet! Around 10:30 p.m., Jess recommended we check out the Good Time Bar across the parking lot. She promised good company, cold drinks, and great music. My friends and I mulled it over for about 7 or 8 seconds before we unanimously agreed: yes, we were going to the Good Time Bar. By 11:00 p.m., we cleaned up our area, disposed of our trash, and made sure to leave it spotless (even though Jess insisted they would handle it). We took the short walk across the parking lot and entered the Good Time Bar. Upon arrival, I could tell I was in good company. The bar was lively but not overcrowded. The atmosphere was vibrant, yet not rowdy, and I felt surrounded by my fellow Pittsburghers of all ages—from their mid-20s to their 70s. I could see the condensation on the cold beers and hear the delightful sounds of locals singing karaoke. My friends and I found a spot at the bar, and we were warmly welcomed. As we settled in, we listened to one karaoke performance after another. I turned to my wife and said I was going to sing too. One song quickly turned into three. I made my way to the DJ with an I.C. Light in hand and asked to get on the list. Was I nervous about singing in front of a crowd? Not at all. I felt completely at home among this group of good-hearted, hardworking Pittsburghers unwinding after a long week. My karaoke performances went flawlessly. Patrons cheered and clapped, offering words of encouragement. I might not have been hitting Freddie Mercury or Alan Jackson levels, but in my eyes—and my wife’s—I was center stage at the Post Gazette Pavilion, belting out songs like a pro. Midnight came and went, and by 12:05 a.m., we decided it was time to wrap up the night, especially since I had a busy day of landscaping and filling bird feeders ahead. I hesitated to write this review out of fear that these establishments would become overly crowded with new patrons, but our unexpectedly epic night compelled me to share. If you decide to visit, ask for Jess and let her know you're looking forward to the amazing food; she and her team won't disappoint. The service and food are outstanding. While some items from the original menu before the new management took over aren't available now, I say balderdash to those frustrations— the current menu is fantastic, and the food is top-notch. There’s plenty of seating inside, a great outdoor area, and it’s BYOB. Pizza and Mexican food together? Are you kidding me?! What a time to be alive! Jess, we're rooting for you and will definitely be back. Until then, keep up the great work. Onward and upward!"
