"After a White Sox game, I decided to get a burger and a bowl of chili with a cold draft beer. To my disappointment, I found out that the original Lindy's on Archer Avenue had closed down. Let me explain, I used to work at this restaurant in the 1970s and everything was made fresh, from the chili to the onion rings and French fries. The crew took pride in their cooking and the place was always bustling with customers. It's a shame that this iconic restaurant, a Chicago institution since the early 1920s, was sold and closed. People used to line up outside the doors at 10am just to taste the delicious fresh chili and other offerings at Lindy's on Archer Avenue. Bill Orr and Tennessee would be disappointed. It's truly shameful that Chicago has lost such an iconic restaurant at 3685 Archer Avenue."

"1. once try the sylvania location my wife took me to birthday dinner and I decided to try shawn’swe ordered hot pfefferkäse bslls for our appetizer and ordered ranch and marinara diving sauce, got ranch and hot sauce. our main dish was the guinness broken fish and steak frits with coleslaw fish was far overcooked and pommes were good and coleslaw had no taste my wife got the same, except she was steamed brokkoli, her eating was the same, broccoli was in a bowl water without taste or butter overall this is the worst food I have ever eaten in any food. they need to remove the fish from the menu"

"We were a large group, adults and kids. Our excellent server, Lavine, gave excellent recommendations. We had the goat, a seafood curry and most delicious, the oxtail. Food was delicious, authentic and tasted fresh. The amuse bouche of hot from the oven, beignets was a winner. This place is a reasonable hidden gem. Try it!"
