"Last week, I attended both showings of "Dirty Dancing." Both were slated for 7 PM, with the actual start time noted as 7:20 PM on the website. On Sunday, I arrived just before showtime, but by the time I got my drink and settled in, it was already 7:20 PM. To my surprise, the film was playing the dance scene between Johnny and Penny to "Do You Love Me?", which happens 15 minutes into the movie. My food, which I ordered through the app, didn’t arrive at my seat until 7:30 PM. By 7:40 PM, I had to step out to inquire about my order, which finally appeared around 8 PM—and it was cold. My friend ordered popcorn at the bar when we arrived, but that didn't arrive until 8 PM as well, after I had already finished my meal.
I returned on Wednesday and made sure to arrive a bit earlier, but once again the bartender was slow, despite the bar being empty. I ordered just a beer, and by the time I sat down at 7:18 PM, the movie had once again already started—this time at the magic act, just 10 minutes in. I don’t understand why they announce a specific showtime only to start the movie earlier. I'm very familiar with this film, having seen it hundreds of times, and I was really looking forward to experiencing it in its entirety at the theater.
At least my food this time didn’t require a follow-up inquiry, but it still arrived cold. I also didn't get any free popcorn on either visit, which isn't a major issue. However, I just don’t understand why they can’t deliver drinks to your seat like another location does. Both times, "Dirty Dancing" was the only movie playing at that moment, and all the employees seemed unoccupied, so I’m baffled as to why my food wasn’t delivered on Sunday without my prompting.
Despite these frustrations, I’m still giving it 3 stars because..."
