"My sister lives in Mineral Point and that's the first time I ate the Gray Dog Deli. I saw an article that said they had one of the best reuben sandwiches, so I had to have one since I loved her. The marble bread is homemade and delicious! The beef was tender and juicy. I can honestly say it's one of the best I had. The side of the pasta salad was fresh and tasteful. They close early for a private party and the owner came with a tablet of cookies and offered each of us a contract. I took one of their gluten-free oatmeal peanut butter chocolate chip cookies (hope I have the long name right). It was chewing mouth water. A great way to finish my meal. I'll be back next time in town."

"If I could have given zero stars I would have. This place is just disgusting. My husband and I ordered the KC strip steak entree (medium rare) with a chicken noodle soup as a side. The soup comes out COLD. No biggie we just trade it out for a salad. Our steaks come out and they are rock hard and dry (EXTRA WELL DONE). Waiter agrees and sends it back and we get a completely RAW STEAK! Crazy part is my husband said that would happen. We ended up just leaving the plates there and going somewhere else to eat. I definitely would not recommend. The staff was also super rude and inconsiderate about the overall situation. For the price point, it’s definitely not appetizing. I would have rather had golden coral, AND I HATE that place !"
