"One thing that got me to come back here is how delicious their Hash browns are. I know that sounds odd, but both potato choices taste like real potato not he rehydrated or frozen kind. They are well seasoned, no need to add anything, and also not super oily.I ordered the Goody's breakfast, over medium egg, pancakes, and with a side of gravy.A real perfect all American breakfast.Okay so the pancakes are buttery and sweet, and the sausage link and ham are thick and savory. The bacon is bacon, nicely cooked, no complaints, but not as special as the ham and sausage.The gravy went well with the hash browns and eggs.Overall very delicious and I found my favorite meal to order from there now.14.99+ Side of gravy I don't remember how much that costOh and that fresh squeezed oj is so sweet, I'd suggest getting a side of ice, but very good."

"Rudford's is one of the oldest diners in San Diego. Located conveniently near University Heights and close to 30th Street and South Park, it’s a fantastic spot for 24-hour food cravings. The best part? The food is amazing! We all had a great experience, and I personally enjoyed a delicious cup of chili alongside my sausage plate. My friends ordered chilaquiles, biscuits and gravy, eggs benedict, blueberry pancakes, and some cured meats and fruit. Everyone loved their meals and felt very comfortable. The prices are reasonable, and the service is quick and excellent. If you're looking for a nostalgic dining experience with a modern twist, Rudford's is the place to be. I’d definitely recommend it for late-night outings, casual meals, or family gatherings. They’re always bustling! 10/10 would recommend!"

"I recently went to Lots A Java for breakfast and decided to try their biscuits and gravy. I usually have to order sausage on the side to add to my dish, but this time the sausage was already in the gravy. I could taste a unique flavor in the sausage, it tasted like it was homegrown and not store-bought. If you haven't tried their biscuits and gravy with sausage, I highly recommend giving it a try. The taste is unlike anything you'll find at a grocery store."

"The Corn Beef Hash Eggs breakfast was very filling and offered a generous portion for the price. The hash brown potatoes were nice and crispy, and my over-easy eggs were cooked perfectly. I do wish the biscuit in the Biscuits and Gravy Breakfast was more flaky and less bread-like, but that's just my personal preference."

The mini waffles, for example, are just one small flat waffle and adding an egg to a sandwich costs $3. "This was such a fun little place for breakfast. The service is fast considering it's a small little place and the servers are working really hard along with the cooks. We sat at the bar because there were no tables available and I am glad we did. It was fun talking to the staff as they were getting orders prepared. The breakfast was a breakfast. Simple and easy. Nothing fancy. But we'll definitely come back. The prices are extremely fair in today's economy!"
