"From the moment we arrived at the host stand we knew something was off. I had reservations for 7:00 for dinner. We were asked if we wanted to sit at the bar or at a table. I thought that was odd but went along with it and we were seated at a table. We were immediately met with warm bread and water and that was basically the end of our dinner service. When I say that we had to flag down someone from the wait staff and ask for every single thing I truly mean we had to ask for everything. No one asked if we wanted drinks or appetizers. We had to ask to order food. Of note we ordered salads that after 20 minutes we asked a server about to which she responded (after clicking her nails on our table) “oh….you wanted that before your meal?” Our server (whom I can only assume was our server) never brought any of our food but stood in the bar area talking to other employees while a kitchen runner brought out our meal. When our food arrived we began eating but had not received the sides that we ordered. Half was through the meal o was finally able to stop a server and ask about our sides to which she responded (with another click of her nails on our table) “he’s working on it”. She never apologized for the delay and never returned to our table. No one ever asked if we wanted more drink or deserts. The only question we received from anyone was from the host telling us that we should purchase the $100 Tomahawk steak for our meal. All in all the food was pretty good and I feel sorry for the chef that is cooking such high quality food with such poor wait staff and service. We won’t go back simply because of the poor service."

"I recommend Spencer's to everyone looking for that really special place for a really special occasion. It's quite expensive since the steaks side dishes are ordered separately, but we had the best steaks, asparagus salads ever! We made a night of it since the booth was so comfortable, the drinks were great, we hadn't seen the couple we took there in some time. It was a really memorable experience with absolutely perfect service food!"
