"I recently started eating here yesterday. I DoorDash fried chicken wings and shrimp fried rice with Chinese donuts and cheesesteak rolls. Everything was good!!Today, I had my boyfriend pick up beef broccoli. The beef was very soft (not what I’m used to at all compared to other Chinese food places) and there were pieces of broccoli that tasted like soap. I’m currently pregnant and my taste buds are definitely on a high. I usually eat beef and broccoli from other places so I did iddd to try it here and it wasn’t good at all. I called to let them know and I told the woman I will be coming in to bring the food back because half of it is in the garbage from me picking through it. She started to mention that they never get complaints and it’s just me. Unfortunately, they do not know how to take constructive criticism.I arrived at the store and a male was at the front, I told him that I called and why. He looked inside the box and he said that I ate some of it. I told him yes, I picked through it, ate a few pieces and the other pieces went in the garbage because it taste like soap. He shook his head no. So I asked him for me to either get something else or he can give me my money back. He gave me my money back and waved his hand at me to “shoo”. He was very rude after all I tried to do was explain to them what the experience was like for me. I wouldn’t have had a problem with trying something else from there. They aren’t the perfect Chinese food place but I definitely won’t be coming back here myself.Ps: the other Fu Wah Place in Hermitage St plaza is amazing FYI!"

"I ordered food from this place about a month ago and was very unhappy with the way the delivery man treated me. It was on December 17th which was a snow day. I was sitting at home waiting for the delivery guy to call. When he called me he said thathe was outside of my house which was a blatant lie because I looked outside my window and no one was there. Fine, I get it. Youwant me to be prepared with the money and ready to give it to you and making deliveries on a snow day can be tough.Whatever. After waiting for about five minutes I call him back to ask if he had come yet because I didn't see him. He told mehe was stuck behind a few cars on my block and would BE THERE SOON. He didn't tell me to come out because he was in a trafficjam, he didn't tell me politely that I would need to come out in my PJs in the blistering cold to meet him. He said he'd be infront of my house SOON. So I waited and waited and when I finally got the call from I rushed outside. Unfortunately, there werea few cars behind him that were honking at him and cursing at him but he had the nerve to tell me that I was being slow! As if Iwanted him to be stuck in traffic and get cursed out. Without paying much mind to it, I gave him the money and even added alittle tip for his troubles. But honestly, thinking back I should have just handed the food back to him for treating me lilethat. You NEVER treat your customers like that. I didn't deserve to be treated like that. I didn't do anything wrong. Even ifyou're having a bad day and you're getting cursed at, why would you take that out on the customer? Food was okay too but I wasreally disappointed by the attitude I got from the delivery guy that day. I always order from this place because it's close byand the food thwy give is fresh and tasty. But after that experience, never again."
