"I ordered takeout for two Asian Zing combos with bone-in wings. My boyfriend and I are regular customers of this restaurant and have visited many times, despite living 20 minutes away. On the evening of 10/28, we arrived home after a long day and were very hungry. However, after tasting just one wing, we found them to be extremely spicy to the point that we could not eat more than one. We contacted the restaurant and spoke with an African American woman (whose name I do not know) at the register, explaining that we found the wings excessively spicy and wanted a refund. She mentioned that the cook had made them particularly spicy that day. My boyfriend returned the food, feeling upset as we had spent money on gas for the trip. The woman at the register initially refused to give him a cash refund, causing further frustration. My boyfriend requested to speak with the manager, who was very apologetic. However, during the refund process, the woman began laughing at my boyfriend, displaying unprofessional behavior. If she had informed us about the extra spiciness in advance, we would have avoided the situation altogether. This incident, combined with previous rude encounters, has led my boyfriend to vow never to return to this restaurant. It is important for establishments to hire professional and customer-oriented staff. Due to the behavior of this particular employee, the restaurant has lost two loyal customers. We urge others to avoid interacting with this unprofessional and disrespectful individual at all costs."
