"I?m not sure where the 4.4 stars are coming from .. maybe I ordered the wrong thing? This was not good at all and usually I will try a few things before leaving a review but this was bad! Not tasty at all My favorite Thai restaurant is now under new management and they?ve changed the menu drastically so I?m on a journey to find my new favorite Thai restaurant in Tempe and Thai basil is a hard pass. I?ll start with the positive. The food was ready pretty quickly, if that?s your thing this place is for you. But if you actually like for your food to taste good.. read on. I ordered the drunken noodle with medium spice meaning a little kick but not too much. and this dish came with no spice no flavor at all! I mean these noodles are blander than standing in line at the DMV, blander than sitting in traffic in 106 degree weather (with no A/C) blander than waiting for AOL dial up connection. You get the point. The only flavor I got was that of a dirty wok/pan. An overworked burned wok. Yuck. The chicken was tough and hard to chew. The dish smelled nothing like drunken noodle or Thai food for that matter no scent of Thai basil whatsoever .. now that I think of it it smelled like the hint of burnt I tasted. They also cram all the noodles into cancer containers that create condensation and waters your food down even more, as if it wasn?t bland enough. They are also pricier than other Thai restaurants in the area. That being said.. on to the next! my quest to find a new Thai spot to call home continues ..wish me luck and stay tuned! Side note I went and picked up noodles from another Thai restaurant because I was not eating this and I?ve included a side by side to show the lack of seasoning flavor!"

"[Updated after 2nd visit]I believe I 've found my favorite Thai food after trying many different places : 1 Atmosphere InsideThe lighting is dim, which I like. There are many seating options for pairs, groups of four, or more. I also liked the decorations inside, which made me feel as if I were in Thailand. The staff are nice as well.2 FoodThis is obviously the most important factor. I tried 'Pad Gar Pow, ' which comes with a choice of protein (including tofu, chicken, pork, beef, squid, shrimp, duck, fish, seafood, and scallops served with fresh garlic, onion, pepper, bamboo, and sweet basil. The rice served is jasmine rice, not fried. I chose pork. Additionally, there was an option for spice level: medium and hot. I chose hot because I enjoy spicy foods. It was really great—lots of toppings, great sauce, and spicy enough to enjoy. If you 're not comfortable with spicy foods, I would recommend going for medium or mild (if available .During my second visit, I tried the pork noodle soup to see if this place was also great for noodles. Indeed, I really loved it. The reason I haven 't enjoyed similar dishes at other Asian restaurants in Syracuse is that they are either too sweet or too salty. However, the balance here was perfect, meaning it was neither too salty nor too sweet. Especially, I really liked the combination of pork with the Sriracha sauce: Plus, the amount of pork ribs and wontons was sufficient to leave me satisfied.3 OutsideSince it is close to Onondaga Lake Park, it seems like a good place to grab a bite after a walk in the park. There is parking space right in front of the building, but it may not be too convenient to park.4 OverallI really liked the place and, as of now, cannot think of any cons for this restaurant."
