"I've always considered the food at this restaurant to be exceptional, and I've enjoyed good service and atmosphere during my visits. However, I recently experienced a huge disappointment. On my last visit, I noticed that I didn't recognize any of the staff, so I decided to keep it simple and ordered the egg foo young and dumplings. What I received was a disaster. The dish was burnt, the eggs were tough and had strange ingredients mixed in, and the dumpling sauce was off; they used five-spice instead of the traditional green onions and ginger. While I understand that alterations can be made, some things should remain consistent. Even the egg rolls were burnt and just didn't taste right. I've had steamed and fried dumplings from them before, and these were definitely not up to par. I usually order from this place almost every week, but I've never felt this let down. Even the rice was off—how is that possible? I don’t think I can trust this restaurant again."
