"Food was fair. I’ve been to other restaurants where the serving was larger. Also it was hard for me to tell if the place was open our not. Furthermore, I don’t think the lady cashier was helpful in my order. Some restaurants offer fried rice with mixed vegetables plus whatever protein but I don’t think she was willing to offer me the mixed vegetables. Anyways, I wanted Chinese food and it was the only one nearby but I think I could have went somewhere else and receive more for my purchase. "I decided to give this place a try since it’s conveniently located near my home, and the other Chinese restaurants in Utica and New Hartford have terrible ratings. I thought to myself, "How could it possibly be worse?" Unfortunately, I was mistaken. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to a friend or even an acquaintance. The chicken dishes were very bland; the General Tso's chicken lacked flavor, and the bourbon chicken tasted as if it had been frozen—very dry. We thought, "Surely they can't mess up egg rolls," but we were wrong again. They were dry and hard. The rice was decent, but instead of the usual yellow rice found at most places, it was more like white rice with mixed vegetables. Overall, I really can't recommend this restaurant. It's a no for me."

"I had shrimp and broccoli for lunch, and I was very disappointed. The shrimp was poorly fried, and the breading tasted like plain flour. The fried rice was undercooked as well. When I went back for a refund or to exchange my meal, the cashier was rude. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, he wanted to argue with me about how many shrimp were left in my dish, as if there was nothing he could do. He initially offered me three wings with no sides, then changed it to two wings with rice. The length of time it took to address this situation and the arguing with a customer is completely unacceptable. I will not be returning!"

"I don't usually do reviews, but this place was probably my worst Chinese food experience since I got food poisoning back in 2003. I ordered the Boneless spareribs that had zero flavor with roasted pork fried rice that was also flavorless AND not fully cooked. The rice was still sort of crunchy. A small wonton soup and steamed shrimp dumplings that were very chewy. I should have known something was not good when I walked in and there were chicken bones on the floor, the building was very cold and not restaurant like. The waiting area had no seating due to the kids toys and schoolwork space out front. I asked the lady who was waiting there if she had any bad experiences here and she replied it was her first time also. Needless to say, I will NOT bring my money back to this establishment any time soon."

"I ordered $7.10 lo mein. Gave them $20.25 and they gave me $8.15 back. They gave me a 3 singles and a 5, they should have given me 3 singles and a 10. Didn't realize until I was a block away, I went back to get correct change and they said I gave them $10.25 and they refused to give me the $5 they stole. Plus the food is very greasy and makes you feel terrible after you eat it. Store is dirty too. Do not recommend at all."

"Dark inside, almost looks closed because several tables were up. It looked very clean too which is a total must for me. Here you eat your food and get out honestly or take it to go. Does not feel welcoming to sit and eat.Chicken vegetable soup was good, I would recommend. Also the Chicken quesadilla was very tasty as well as the fried dumplings. Overall I would return and recommend to others."

"The food was just as delicious as I remembered from two years ago, but it seems like a different team is managing the restaurant now. They were quite overwhelmed, and it took over an hour to receive my order. At one point, I noticed some tension among the staff regarding being short-staffed and the increasing number of orders. Normally, my order would only take about 10 to 15 minutes to arrive in the past."

"After 90 minutes I called to see if the food was gone. after the first observation, she did not see an order for my address, she looks at the computer and finally says, uoh. then, yes, yes, he is on the way"The restaurant is a mile from my house. food came 25 minutes later. see them, mistakes happen. the orders are transferred. but they don't lie to me and tell me that everything is normal and he's gone, and then scramble to start my order. tell me the truth, maybe they offer an extra rush for the two hours waiting, or maybe they apologize. eating was almost food chinese. two stars for customer service fail."

"The highlight of my meal was definitely the Crab Rangoon, which I thought was fantastic! They were just the right balance and not overly sweet. The Sweet Donut (rated 6/10) was decent, but I found them to be a lot softer than I anticipated. The Bourbon Chicken (10/10) was absolutely delicious; however, I felt it could use more sauce. It reminded me a bit of barbecue chicken, and I really enjoyed the flavor. On the other hand, the Chicken Lo Mein was underwhelming, and I wouldn't recommend it. I think it's better to stick with the rice!"

"I come to this Chinese spot at least once a week- and I always order the beef lo mein. Food is always fresh and piping hot. The flavors are perfect. Their egg rolls- are so freaking tasty! PRO-TIP order whatever you want as the lunch special between 11a-2pm (I believe, the exact times are posted online on their menu) and it’s like $8. You cannot beat the price, the flavor, the deliciousness."

"Definitely do NOT support them. I have been supporting them for a long time. Almost weekly! Tonight we were met with a two hour delay in food delivery, without apology. When we open the food which was cold, half our order was missing. We brought it to the attention of the manager who was unapologetic, did not offer any solution and was not willing a issue partial refund for food we paid for. We believe in supporting small businesses, but this is unacceptable."

"This was definitely the worst Chinese food I've ever eaten in my life. No beef dish. Sushi was warm and dry. Fried rice had burnt carrots in it. Not many options for non seafood eaters. Most of the dishes had a sad tired look to them. I fear that this dinner is going to cost me some time in the restroom. The waitress had her loud, rowdy son there and that just added to the bad experience. The greeter/cashier was very nice."

"I have only started ordering here a few months ago, but I can say for sure that the food has been fantastic. The Sweet and Sour Chicken especially is delicious. The sauce isn't runny like a lot of other places. Other sauces I've had tasted like hot kool-aid. This is many times better. I also love the fried rice and white rice."

"I called in our order for pickup at 6:07 PM. We went for a variety of items: a pork egg roll, a shrimp egg roll, fried wontons, crab rangoon, steamed dumplings, sesame chicken (which came with white rice), sweet and sour pork (also with white rice), pork fried rice, and chicken lo mein. We were really hungry and wanted to sample a little bit of everything! They told us it would be ready in about 20 minutes, and it was right on time. We tried everything except the fried rice, which will be our lunch tomorrow. Everything we tasted was really good and served hot! We’ll definitely be ordering from here again. The egg rolls weren’t our favorite, but that’s just a matter of personal taste (my husband jokingly said he doesn’t like “grassy” egg rolls, haha). I’ll update after our next visit, but we’re really glad we took a chance on this place!"

"I don't ask much, for the food to be made hot and spicy with extra sauce over the rice, the last 5 or so trips since my departure in March. They can't even get that right. I get home rice dry as ever, no extra sauce. Like I work out of state and I don't have access to decent Chinese and to think the first place I want to come to is there. NEVER AGAIN, then I call to say order is messed up once again they hang up on me. Let's talk about it, Their prices have went up to include less. The lunch special is just meat and just plain fried rice, compared to other available options white rice, fried rice and at minimum pork fried rice is an option. There is usually a charge for chicken or shrimp which is fine , then some offer drink or egg roll or drink or soup or any one of the three. So at this point there is no true bang for your lunch special buck here at all. I'm pretty sure with a little searching you cam find another chinese restaurant.YOU HAVE TRULY LOST A LONG STANDING CUSTOMER AND I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND ANOTHER PERSON TO GO THERE EVER AGAIN."
