"Do you like good, old fashioned home cooking? I'm talking about the kind of food that your favorite grandma used to make for Sunday evening dinner when the Pastor was coming over kinda good, ya feel me? The breakfast is delicious and filling! The short stack of pancakes could feed two hungry truck drivers!! And talk about light and fluffy!! My wife loves the breakfast burrito here and my two boys love the omelettes. Lunch is equally as good with some of the best, fall off the bone grilled pork chops that I've ever eaten. The blt and hamburger are both stellar selections and don't miss ordering their home fries. They're 1/2 between fried taters and a thick potato chip. Pro tip: This may be a bit sacrilegious but their ketchup is better than Whataburgers (shh). The desserts are all house made and so tasty that other restaurants in the area proudly advertise that their desserts are made by the Bluebonnet Cafe! Pro tip: If you're a fan of banana pudding then please try the Bluebonnet's rendition of this timeless classic. The service is absolutely amazing! Brandy pretty much handles every table in the restaurant with a mixture of friendliness and sassiness. You'll know that you're a regular when you get the sassy!! Try the Bluebonnet!!! The joint is full of wonderful folks who have a knack for making you smile!"
