"Cute 50 's diner vibe, new to town, figured we would try it out because it had an actual grilled chicken sandwich, and my wife wanted one (instead of all the breaded/fried chicken that the fast food places offer now .Our advice? Don 't bother. Piece of chicken breast, soggy and wet, on a bun with some lettuce, tomato and mayo (wife 's choice . Not sure where the grilled part of grilled chicken breast came in, perhaps somewhere in the kitchen, it had briefly been located next to a grill. But, it wasn 't grilled... heated up a little, perhaps, but that 's the best that could be said.No flavor to it... just a damp/soggy piece of chicken that kind of oozed juices as you bit into it, with the faintest of lines (caramel food coloring to simulate grill marks? on it.It 's too bad. We are new to town, and looking for places we 'd like to make favorites, but unfortunately, Maid-Rite won 't be one after this experience. We 'll keep looking for somewhere with a good chicken sandwich."
