"Unfortunately, our experience at Kyoto was a disaster from start to finish. Upon entering, we were greeted by an unpleasant smell that set the tone for the rest of the evening. We waited an unacceptable hour and a half for our chef to arrive, only to be disappointed further by the subpar service and cooking. The table next to us, who arrived long after us, had their food cooked first, making us feel like we were an afterthought. Our chef appeared to be under the influence, which made us feel unsafe as he struggled to perform even the simplest tasks, like making the onion volcano. His impairment also led to a lack of attention to detail, resulting in a plethora of issues with our meal. The food was inedible, with the steak being both undercooked and burnt simultaneously. The excessive soy sauce and liter of teriyaki sauce poured on the vegetables made them unpalatable. But the biggest concern was the blatant disregard for food safety when our chef reused a cutting board with raw chicken and shrimp to serve a child's portion, putting her at risk of foodborne illness. However, our server was kind and apologetic throughout the ordeal. The manager also attempted to make amends by offering a 50% discount on our meal and a $60 gift card. We appreciated the gesture, but ultimately decided to pay it forward and gave the gift card to another family, as we would not be returning to Kyoto. The combination of poor service, subpar food, and blatant disregard for safety protocols makes it a place to avoid."

"I usually don't express my complaints, but when I do, it comes from a place of genuine frustration. I've ordered from Happy Dragon multiple times and, for the most part, I’ve been satisfied with the food. However, they often forget to include the sauces. When I call to address the issue, they apologize and try to make it right, but by the time I hear back from them, my food is already getting cold. It doesn't seem fair to wait an hour for part of my meal, only to receive the rest later. They really should have prepared a new order for the items they failed to deliver correctly. I understand that mistakes happen, but I can't help but wonder when they will improve their processes to avoid these issues in the future."

"I was really disappointed with my experience at Sunshine Chinese. I was visiting town for a few days on a tight budget but wanted to treat myself to some good Chinese food one night. After reading the reviews online, I decided to try Sunshine. I ordered sesame chicken, vegetable lo mein, and crab rangoon. The staff was very friendly, and my order was ready quickly and served hot—those were the only positives. The lo mein was okay but had very few vegetables. The sesame chicken was tough and tasted like it was a day old; I couldn’t even finish it. The rice was undercooked and crunchy. The crab rangoon contained no crab and had a strange whipped cream cheese filling instead. Portions were very small, especially considering the price. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I felt this one was necessary. Hopefully, they improve their quality and live up to the good reviews they’ve received."

"We had a fantastic experience! The service was outstanding; our water glasses were never empty. The portion sizes were generous, and there was a wide selection of dishes to sample at reasonable prices. The sushi rolls ranged from $6 to $15 and looked delicious. There was also a nice variety of Thai dishes to choose from. I ordered the Panang curry, which I really enjoyed, while my husband had the Kung Pao chicken and loved it. The scallion pancake was very tasty and a great recommendation from our waiter. We'll definitely be returning!"

"This family-owned restaurant has been around for years. While the service can occasionally be a bit slow, the food is truly outstanding. Some of my favorites include the Hunan combination and the General Tso shrimp. The dumplings, whether veggie or meat, are quite large, and I usually prefer to have them fried instead of pan-fried. Since they are made fresh, I like to call ahead and place my order while I'm on my way to the restaurant."

"Ordered Szechuan Beef and Sesame Chicken and the beef dish was so spicy it was inedible. I called and reported the issue with the staff and I was told to come back, and I would be given Broccoli Beef, to replace, at no charge. When I say it was spicy, the Szechuan Beef was so hot it made my tongue numb! I have never had food that hot in my life! If you enjoy hot food, Lucky Panda is your place! Overall, Lucky Panda gets 4 stars for not accurately describing just how hot their “spicy sauce” really is (no chili pepper icon next to the Szechuan Beef as was displayed next to the other beef dishes that were made with the “spicy sauce” , and for the inconvenience of having to make two trips. The lady who attended to me seemed put out and even argued a little with me when I pointed out the omission of the chili pepper next to the Szechuan Beef on the menu. The Broccoli Beef substitute and the Sesame Chicken, as well as the fried rice, were all very tasty, affordable, and generous in portion size."

"The restaurant wasn't crowded, and there was ample space for everyone. The staff did an excellent job, and the buffet was well-stocked with a variety of freshly cooked dishes. You definitely won't leave hungry after eating here. After dinner, we enjoyed a stroll around the nearby shops to help digest that delicious meal. I look forward to dining there again soon."

"We went to visit on Easter Sunday, and while every place was closed this place was open and, it was not entirely our first choice, I've never really been there and it was close enough to where we were but after I ate there, I will definitely make an attempt to return, I say this a lot in my reviews but because it's an important detail: friendly, and caring staff.The person who took our order was very lovely, she was making sure everything was good for us, if there was anything we needed, and making sure we had a pleasant time, so props to her.The food was excellent, fresh, very, very hot, and amazing and cooked without any damaging or burning to the food, I recommend the Mushu Combination (Chicken, Pork, Scallops, Mushrooms, Shrimp and 4 pancakes/tortillas) for 14.75, a great deal for what you're getting, we got a mountain pile on our plate and it was fantastic, you may need a to go container if you're like me, it's worth bringing home and eating, but the atmosphere is also quite nice to just enjoy sitting down and eating.The pot stickers and egg rolls and crab rangoon were good, too.I can not say enough praises to this establishment, I loved my food and can't wait to eat there again.Thank you, Phoenix Asian Restaurant, for the wonderful service."
