"Unable to give 0 stars, this place definitely deserves a 0 star due to the ridiculous service. Made a simple request to switch out a faulty chair in the outdoor area when the younger waitress made a remark “I don’t switch chairs, if you’re not happy with it go find one and switch it yourself”. Was taken aback with the comment and the older waitress came and I made the same request to switch the faulty chair where she hastily replied she has no other chairs and shouted “if you want, you can go and eat inside and show me your vaccine and ID”. At that point we decided to walk out and enjoyed a nice dinner elsewhere."

"I loved this place. Since covid and inflation, I have been trying hard not to judge some restaurants. This last trip, well i'm done. Second time i've got my appetizers cold with meal. Took longer on second dish. it was cold. BUT, worse. They kept sweeping. They swept under my table and seat when i was eating..Sweep, go put dust pan and broom back. Then all over again. Trip after trip. All the time I watched their hands...not wet once. Then out came the rags. Wipe off table, then seats and chair. Move to next table. Wipe off table then SEATS. same with next. OMG wipe nasty seats, where Butts, shoes and other had been, and tables with same rag....NO...stopped eating asked for check."

"Absolutely horrible experience dining in at this restaurant. First off, there was only one waitress there who was in an absolutely horrible mood the whole time. She was on her phone watching tik toks loudly on speaker for most of the time. Additionally, there were people waiting for their take out orders for 30+ minutes.I also got the Summer Rolls, which had undercooked shrimp in it. When I sent that back, the waitress was completely unapologetic and didn’t even say sorry. Next, when I got my entree and asked for a fork, she gave me a fork wrapped in a napkin that seemed to have some sort of mold on it. She also did not say sorry when I mentioned that as well.I will never be coming back to this restaurant again, and I hope people see this review and the horrible experience that I had at this restaurant."

"Nice, cozy room with a small but well-designed selection of beers. The food is also very good; The starters may seem a little expensive for a gastropub, but for gourmets they are comparable in complexity and taste to dishes in the rich table, a rare find in the outer mission / Bernal. If you are looking for tasty snacks, great cocktails, and beer in the neighborhood, I highly recommend this hotel."

"This is a lovely restaurant in the Kingsbridge area. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff is warm and friendly. The chef was quite entertaining, and we had a fantastic time singing along while he cooked and performed tricks with the food. The only downside was that my dish was a bit too salty, so I'll remember to request less soy sauce or whatever seasoning they used next time. However, the rest of the meal was delicious. I highly recommend this place for a fun, casual family outing."

"Like a loud TV while eating Sushi?. I have been there 4 times at least. I had come back because the food is OK and the service is relatively fast. However, last time I dined in, the TV set was set up so loud that it was the main center of attention on the table of 8 we had. It was located right in our heads. It was set to CNN with the current news of famine and the standard war reports. Not a pleasant idea when you are eating. I asked the waitress to please lower the volume and she did not do it. She was watching it. Loud TVs is a common plague that is creeping in the restaurant business lately, but it should not have to be like that if restaurant understand that people go to eat with friends or family and have a unique experience. For TVs, we all have one at home already with remote controllers so we can decide what and when to watch."

"My son and I had a terrible experience at this restaurant on Valentine's Day. We should have been suspicious when they were one of the few restaurants with available reservations at reasonable times. We used to visit Moongate when our children were young and always had a good experience. Unfortunately, our recent visit was a letdown. The service was terrible, with one employee serving as both server and hostess for the entire restaurant. We waited 15 minutes before she came to our table, another fifteen minutes before our drinks arrived, and almost 30 minutes before our dishes were served. Other tables around us were also experiencing poor service. Furthermore, the food was mediocre at best, with lackluster flavor and dishes served cold when they should have been hot. Even the spring rolls were disappointing. I even suggested to a nearby table of four to leave and find another restaurant due to their long wait for service. I also recommended to a couple waiting at the entrance for too long to go elsewhere. This was a very disappointing experience and we will not be returning."

"I read the reviews and wanted the best for this small place however they say they do Hibachi but they don't cook the food in front of you like the typical about she plays the eating area of the restaurant was pretty small but very functional they got a lot of people in a small area but it was very nice they wait staff and the hostess were extremely nice and very caring about their jobs which is quite rare in today's world I was very impressed with that the food came out dry and Bland quite odd for Asian place what I felt was the most unique was the waitress noticed there was very few vegetables in my noodle dish and without asking she just brought me anymore vegetables I'll probably give these guys another try hopefully when they're not so busy we did hit them at rush hour all in all it was a good experience but the food was not up to par"

"My partner and I have visited Sushiya numerous times; it was one of his favorite places even before we met, and now it has become a regular spot for us. The food is consistently delicious, and the service is always exceptional. We’ve had the pleasure of being served by Young-Ju (I hope I spelled her name correctly) almost every time, and she is absolutely wonderful and incredibly sweet. We always look forward to seeing her, and she’s such a joy to chat with. This will undoubtedly remain one of our favorite date night destinations. I can't recommend this place highly enough. The Love-Cado appetizer is a must-try, and their miso soup is the best we've ever had."

"I usually order online to avoid any interactions with staff, as they can be a bit snarky. I'd rather enjoy my meal at home. The restaurant has a trendy and hip vibe, but it's often crowded. The pork ramen is the only dish I get here; I find the sushi doesn't quite suit my taste. "It was so good. the food was fresh and it smelled good too. I genuinely felt bad throwing it out when I couldn't finish it because of my little stomach, and the drinks are cold. It wasn't too crowded, either, which made it very serene. My one complaint is that the bento boxes don't have lids."
