"I went in for the happy hour which ends at 6:30pm. I ordered the seaweed salad, which was very tasty, and the shrimp shumai, which either wasn't fresh or just didn't taste great. This was recommended to me by the waitress over the little neck clam soup. For $5 a dish in midtown, however, I have no complaints about portion sizes. Service was fine, though happy hour diners were seated in a separate section near the bar. "This is one of our all-time favorite restaurants! Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. Last time we were there (just ancouple nights ago), we had one of the best server we have ever had anywhere! I really wish I knew her name, but she was just so friendly and attentive! We went there much later in the evening than we intended, because we had gone to El Ranchito before that and it went terribly and we left. Soooo we headed over to Chopstix at around 8pm. They close at 9, so we were feeling a bit bad about coming in with 6 people just before closing. The server was SO wonderful though! She never rushed us even once, and kept our drinks refilled. She is so genuine and engaging, and got a well deserved 30% tip. I honestly would have given her a 50% tip if I could have, but we didn't have quite enough money to do it. Honestly I REALLY wanted to give her $100 because I appreciate truly great service (which tends to be a rare thing). But we gave what we could and also stopped by the front on the way out to let the staff know just how wonderful our server and food was. I highly, highly recommend Chopstix."

"The Teriyaki Chicken was also good, though it lacked a bit of flavor. The vegetables that accompanied it were delicious, complementing the dish well. The Egg Roll was incredibly crunchy and tasty; my sister loved it, especially since it was her first time trying it! The fresh cabbage was wonderfully crunchy and flavorful—just fantastic! Now, let me tell you about the Cheesecake. It was absolutely mouthwatering! The whipped cream was delightful, and the cheesecake itself was just divine. I probably should have refrigerated it a little longer since it was warm, but it was still so good. The texture was creamy and incredibly soft, making it worth every bite. It was baked to perfection and truly transported me to another world. I felt like I was floating! And the cherry on top was perfect too—sweet and chewy. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Thank you!"
