"HORRIBLE customer service. My partner and I went there for dinner and we loved everything we ordered besides the chicken hibachi. We were told we can’t have it removed from the bill nor can we swap it out for anything else. The chef then came out and proceeded to argue with me as to why the food is good and our opinion does not matter regardless of all the food we ordered and loved. He said that everyone likes it and “hibachi is hibachi it is the same everywhere you go”. Which as a frequent lover of eating out at restaurants all over NYC, I know that statement is 100% false. Their customer service is extremely poor. Literally every other restaurant has a manager on staff that comes and assists customers if they have any issues, I have never experienced this in my life."

"I came to know about Mori Sushi from yelp event and drove there to get some sushi experience. The maps will bring you to the back parking lot and this place has an ample of parking spaces. Restaurant is on the street side so if you take turn for parking before the restaurant than don't be confused as there is no board in the back but the right side of the place mentions reserved parking. When you enter the place you will see waiting area and that place can sit 4 people and there is a reception inside the door where you will meet the courteous staff. The place inside is not very big but has a very pleasing feeling. There are outdoor options too but due to winter time I think outdoor is closed. I tried vegetarian sushi and spicy tuna sushi and both the sushi dishes were fresh and really good. I highly recommend this place if you have sushi cravings."

"Went for a birthday celebration. Large party (22 people) so imagine my surprise that they only had 2 chefs and one waiter working. While I'm fully cognizant that Covid has created staffing challenges, the reservation was made with enough notice and if it was going to be a challenge the party should have been notified. Staff seemed totally overwhelmed and we were hesitant to ask for anything because it seemed as if we were a bother. Habachi is supposed to be fun. SMH! Drinks took a while and I along with another diner ended up going to the bar to grab our drinks from the bartender because our waiter was running around by himself. Manager stopped by briefly to tell us that 15 of us at one table had to eat first because with only 2 chefs, one was working with our group and the other was taking care of other patrons. . So, we got started and the other part of our group had to wait almost 30 minutes before their food got started. Food quality was good and portions generous but if I were to go back, I'd recommend no large gatherings. ."

"We've been visiting this restaurant for nearly 20 years, and this was our first time dining inside since the pandemic began. The service is consistently good, and the food varies between good and excellent; I believe the inconsistency is more about the chef than the dishes themselves. It’s difficult to feel completely at ease in a restaurant right now, and I found myself a bit preoccupied with that. We ordered a Rainbow Roll, a Dragon Roll, and Salmon cut rolls, all wrapped in soy paper. The beer was spot on. Overall, it’s a great place to eat and reasonably priced compared to other options."

"I hadn’t been here in years, but I was in the area, so I decided to order takeout sushi. I checked my bag as I was walking out and realized an item was missing. I went back in and he told me it was on the bottom of the bag. I took everything out to show him (there were two small boxes of sushi) so it was pretty obvious the spring rolls were missing. He politely retrieved them from the back where he forgot them and apologized. That wasn’t a big deal by itself even though they did not seem busy enough at the time to not have made sure the entire order was packed. However the biggest issue was that my sushi did not have a clean, fresh taste. You could tell by looking at it that it wasn’t made with quality ingredients. My salmon sushi had a pin bone in it and did not taste very good. The other items I got were also disappointing. I only ate some of it because most of it was off-putting. Needless to say, I won’t be returning."
