"the eating would have tasted great if I didn't have to drive there a second time and had to wait another 15 minutes for my order. elaborating: I order the collection by doordash. I go in there and there are three Spanish speaking people - although I was the only in the restaurant that was in register as they were in such a hurry when I tried to add a cheesecake to my order. after about 10 minutes waiting I hear them discuss tilapia they probably don't think I can understand. but I do, so I go by in a hurry and say loudly from “ hello, excuse me- I did not order cats tilapia. “The three turn around and the dame in register assures me that it wasn’t tilapia that she was in my box she talked about another order. 20 minutes later, when I finally come home and – what do they know! to my surprise there is tilapia in my box. that is so rough I don't eat that fish (it's literally like the pig of the fish. So I suppose they don't think I'm all gonna be up there, but I did. when I get back up there - the dame in register has the nerve to tell me, okay we will fix our mistakes they have no reason to behave? I wanted to be like “BITC* PLEASE!” but there were some nice looking church people and they are dressed all nice and I didn’t want to be rude in front of them. they are lucky all i said was “I was just here and I asked them specifically to make sure they don’t put tilapia in my box because I ordered a cat – I make it all away to home ready to feed my children and eat me and when I open the box to make my own plate, what do I see in there? the tilapia who all three of you lied and said that you did not put in there” .... I might have had an easy job, but who wouldn't? how are they now simply rude and unprofessional."

"I visited this restaurant last Friday, and my family really enjoyed the food, so it wasn't my first time there. The food is good, but the wait times can be quite long. I don’t mind waiting for hot, delicious food, but I do have an issue with the male staff member who took my order at the window. I ordered several items, including a loaded baked potato that my nephews love. On the digital menu, the loaded potato was clearly listed at $13. After I paid, I noticed that my receipt charged me $14 for the potato. I brought this to the attention of the staff member at the register. He insisted that the potato cost $13.99. I explained three times that the menu showed $13.00, not $13.99 and definitely not $14. He eventually went to check the digital menu for himself. I was right; it clearly stated $13.00. Instead of apologizing for the mistake, he changed the price on the menu right in front of me. I politely asked him, while appreciating the correction, what he would do about my receipt since I was charged incorrectly. He looked at me and said, "Well, it's not my fault that someone put the wrong price on the menu." I acknowledged that, but reminded him that I still wasn't charged the correct price. Then he asked, "So, ma'am, are you refusing to pay for your food?" I was baffled because I had already paid for it. I asked him, “What do you mean by refusing to pay? I’ve already paid! I’m just wondering if I’ll get an apology, a dollar back, or maybe a can of soda as compensation?” He returned to the counter and ignored me for the next 23 minutes while I waited for my food. I want to emphasize that a dollar doesn’t faze me, but being rude and dismissive does. This interaction was incredibly unprofessional, and it’s enough for me to decide that I won’t be returning. In the end, I didn’t really care about the extra dollar I was incorrectly charged; it was how I was treated by this young male staff member that bothered me. He may not have thought it was a big deal, but it was! I’m sure he wouldn’t appreciate being treated that way either. I guess he may be used to customers complaining loudly to get their point across, but that's not how I handle things. I refuse to let anyone take me to that level. While my absence may not hurt the business dramatically, if he continues to treat customers like I was treated, it will certainly have an impact. I can find good food, excellent customer service, and fair pricing anywhere along Halsted Street any day of the week."
