"We were in search of a quick takeout option near our home and decided to stop by a place we had seen several times. The menu was typical for a Chinese restaurant—extensive. We ordered shrimp spring rolls, General Tso's chicken, and scallops in oyster sauce. Unfortunately, the first two dishes were subpar, though at least they were edible. The scallops, however, were downright inedible. We took a couple of bites each before setting them aside. It seemed like there was at most one or two scallops, thinly sliced and buried in a mound of vegetables and a poorly made sauce. The General Tso's chicken, one of their specialties, consisted of chicken pieces enveloped in a thick, gooey batter—it was on the edge of being acceptable, but our hunger may have influenced our perception. Overall, I would recommend skipping this restaurant."
