"We drove home from a foliage hike with our seven dogs, sitting outside on a warm autumn day and stumbled on this perfectly located Italian pizzeria in Belfast. What a fantastic find! Although they welcomed all our dogs (sight unseen) when we asked if we could bring a dog into the outdoor café section, we were happy to sit with us only our most tedious, best behaved papillon dog. From our table, we were just a short distance and in full view of our van in the nearby parking lot, so we could easily monitor the dogs waiting for us in the van. The server,Steve, was attentive and provided many menu information as soon as we sat. My husband had a house drink called Gin Thyme and it was nice. He had a pizza with goat cheese and artichoke. I had the Carpenter Calzone, which looked enormously on the plate, but the dough was slightly soft with a delicate chewing texture. The selection of cheese, fresh tomato and spinach was surprisingly nicely paired with the pear apple wine recommended by Steve. We have made it with the house Tira misu Dessert, which is made daily and is served in a generous goblet with a lot of creamy Mascarpone cheese and just the correct amount of espresso soaked lady fingers with a touch of liqueur. We plan to return soon without the dogs and dressed for a date night, although it is nice to know that we are always for a casual dinner with a dog or two, also."
