"it is 09 22 2022, a Thursday evening , my wife and I are exhausted from cleaning the house for 4 hours . We are looking forward to a tasty meal as our reward. My granddaughter is begging for a Bonchon chicken dinner. Normally, we go to Bonchon inWashington DC for our food. They consistently serve excellent food. But we did not want to face the rush hour trip into DC. Soafter reviewing Google reviews, we decided to take a gamble and placed a large order online at Waldorf Bonchon. The food wasready on time for the pick-up. However, their cooks need to go back to Bonchon University and take a refresher course: Chicken wings drums C+ slightly overcooked, the meat was dry and stringy. Fried Rice C+ This was a $13.00 entry. I am baffledthat a Korean eatery would screw-up fried rice. Bulgogi C whoever is preparing this needs to revisit the recipe. It tastedlike a Steak Um in soy sauce. No garlic flavor! The meat did not taste like it was marinated. Pot Stickers B Coleslaw C- literally it was chopped cabbage. I think they forgot to add the coleslaw dressing French Fries A When compared to theWash DC Bonchon this was a hard failure. Originally, I had plan that our large order would last for two days. But, I packed-upthe left-overs and sent them home with the grandkids , who have less developed taste palate and to their dog."

"I love Bonchon, it's one of my favorite places for chicken. I recently went there with a friend in NOVA and we had a great experience. The service was good; we ordered at the counter and found a table ourselves. The food was brought out in a bag as if it were for takeout, and we were given paper plates and plastic utensils. We shared a 16-piece chicken strip with sides of white rice and daikon radish, and everything was fresh and delicious. The ambiance was nice, the restaurant was clean and not crowded. It was a cute and enjoyable experience, and I would definitely go back again!"

"Booked a little staycation in Herndon. Was going to try another restaurant called bb.q chicken but decided to play it safe and order from Bon Chon. We live in Woodbridge and the Bon Chon out there is always great. I SHOULD HAVE JUST TRIED THE BB.Q place. This order was HORRIBLE! I am EXTREMELY mad. $56 down the drain. The rice is so soggy my daughter looked at it confused. It 's like clumped up, grainy mashed potatoes. The chicken is overcooked, rock hard, and nasty. I wish I would have read the reviews because others have definitely posted the same over several months and it appears no one is taking the complaints or reviews seriously as they continue to steal people 's hard earned money and give them food that shouldn 't even be fed to farm animals. This is ridiculous. How many reviews will it take for them to do something about this? I want my money back. Now I have to order something else for my family to eat when I shouldn 't have to because I I paid $56 on this garbage. Do yourself a favor. Order somewhere else. I should have known better when I walked in to pick my order up and my feet/shoes kept sticking to the floor with sticky, sugary water. This place surely has not been inspected recently, and it shows. Run."

"Really good food and great service. The folks at the restaurant were very welcoming and attentive to the table needs; never ran low on water. The restaurant allows you to order online and have food delivered to your table. It's very simple to add more food or drinks to your tab. However if you're technology adverse, you can speak with the staff who are a moment away. The bulgogi fries were crisp and crunchy, the meat was well stewed and there was plenty of sauce. Very satisfying. The korean tacos were very full and would've been enough on its own. I thoroughly enjoyed the time I spent at the restaurant and would go back again. I can heartily recommend this location to any of my friends coming through the DC area."

"The chicken strips were fantastic! They were definitely the highlight of my meal—definitely try the soy garlic strips paired with the spicy mayo; I highly recommend it. The fried chicken was crispy, served hot, and perfectly seasoned. The seasoned fries were fresh and absolutely amazing. I also appreciated that they offer plates of drumsticks, which is great since my family always ends up fighting over them. The service was good, though we were seated near the kitchen, where some servers were chatting, which created a bit of a chaotic atmosphere. However, as long as you're not looking for a quiet place to have a deep conversation, you should be just fine."

"I really love the new BonChon in Fairfax on Lee Highway, right next to Chipotle! The place is nice, modern, and clean, plus the service is friendly. I usually order wings at another location, where I only receive a tiny pickled radish with my medium or large wing orders. However, at the new Fairfax location, I got a generous serving of radish with my 20-piece order! That's fantastic! From now on, my friends and family will definitely be ordering from Fairfax!"

Don’t miss their coleslaw; it’s fresh, flavorful, and unlike any other coleslaw we’ve tried. Our order included a medium combo with half and half chicken: 5 drumsticks and 10 wings, served with coleslaw. We also tried the Korean taco with spicy chicken, which is a must-try! We added steamed rice on the side. Our little one loved two pieces of fried chicken and was still eager for more after the meal. "This Bonchon restraunt is beyond perfect. I took my whole family here and all of them were super satisfied. My dad loves crispy wings and no restraunt serves them like bonchon. Their chicken is always perfectly cooked and is flavored super well. Their tteok-boki is super good too! If you go here you need to try their chicken. You will never be unsatisfied. But do not try their spicy chicken unless you can handle a lot of spice! (This is coming from someone that has a high spice tolerance)This is my favorite place around here to get chicken from. Definetly need to try!"

"First off DO NOT TIP THEM 20%. This is not like the traditional bonchon places where a server helps you with an order and actually serves you. Basically, I ordered from the counter and our food was brought out to us. That was the extent of the service. Water is self serve. Drinks are free refills but you have to beg the worker who 's on his phone the entire time to provide a refill for you. Cleanup you do yourself. It 's almost like take out except you eat at the restaurant. Virtually 0 service. I usually always tip 20% but for this place maybe 5% at MOST is deserved as a Thank you for showing up to your job. Food was decent. Ordered fried chicken (half soy garlic half spicy). The best part is the chicken was actually spicy (I feel like other locations don 't make the chicken as spicy). If I 'm doing take out I feel like this would be a decent location but I 'd rather dine in elsewhere if I actually want a dining experience."

"I opened an account just to post this review. This was dissappointing... Not at all what the classic Bonchon flavour is. I've had Bonchon fried chicken growing up in LA and recently found out that there is a Bonchon here in Seattle and I had to go visit. Classic fried chicken: Very, very oily taste (plain), maybe I walked in last night before it was time for an oil change? Really dont know it was 5pm. Soy and garlic as mentioned in alot of the other reviews, just a light glaze of sauce brushed on the very oily chicken. Went in for a nostalgia trip to my childhood flavoursm, but received a supermarket fried chicken dipped in oil. At least it was crispy? Sides: Fried rice was pretty good, enjoyed it, a good amount of egg. Fries were pretty average, but not as bad as the other reviews say. Tteokbokki was decent, no complaints. Maybe an option to get it mild would be a great idea. 1 star for the chicken, 4 stars for the sides. The couple of items above came out to around $70 (Family meal tteokbokki). For the price, it definitely did not meet expectations, especially compared to Bonchon in LA."
