"The carnitas were a strange brown color, and the taste was a bit off— not terrible, but definitely not what I expected. I've never seen carnitas that color before; maybe they were old? Either way, this will be the last time I buy them. I was really looking forward to having Michoacan-style carnitas. On a positive note, the salsas were good, and they provided a generous portion of salsa, beans, and rice. The beans were tasty, and the sope masa paired well with them, but overall, the carnitas just didn't taste like carnitas should."
