The open kitchen mirrors this level of cleanliness and order. The staff is courteous, communicative, and very friendly. The food quality was more than satisfactory, and the portion sizes were generous. Prices are approximately 22% higher than local competitors, which is a bit surprising for this lower-middle-class neighborhood. However, the restaurant has been in this location for many years and has maintained a sustainable business model. My beef entrée (served with perfectly cooked white rice), steamed dumplings, and a 16-ounce Schweppes would have totaled $33, so I opted to skip the dumplings and brought my bill down to about $22. If cost isn't a major concern for you or you're feeling indulgent, I would recommend this restaurant. Just a heads up, there is no brown rice option available, and the chef mentioned that all dishes contain a small amount of MSG. Given my positive experience, I might add the dumplings on my next visit."
