"China Best has been our #1 go-to Chinese restaurant as long as we have lived in Hayward. There is not a single dish of disappointment, but our absolute favorites are: walnut prawn, combination chow fun, salt pepper pork, and Mongolian beef. Last night we had friends over, so we picked up: peking spare rib (aka sweet and sour pork ribs), eggplant and tofu in garlic sauce, combination pan fried noodle, and fish fillet in black bean sauce. It's making me hungry again writing this post.The owner is an absolute sweetheart. When I first started going to the restaurant, I was pregnant with my second child and made extra requests like not adding any salt to salt pepper pork... now I think about it that's ridiculous but she made it happen for me with always a smile on her face. It's a family-fun restaurant that can be trusted by local residents. Kid-friendliness: All my kids love the owner and get excited when I tell them we are picking up from China Best Parking: We pick up quite often, but never had an issue finding a spot"
