"The food was okay but this review is on our experience with the waitstaff and one of the 'managers '. There were 6 of us (5 bills) and as we all checked to be sure they were correct we found a couple discrepancies. First, we 'll say that our waitress let us know it was her 'first day ' when we got there. This was a lie as two of us were there on Tuesday and it was her 'first day ' then. Ha! Then when we asked about the higher than menu prices on our bills the 'manager ' came out and told us that 'yes ' some of the prices were raised. Um, no... You mayhave increased the prices, but until you list them on the menu you can 't expect people to pay them! He took one of the bills back that had a higher price and a salad that wasn 't ordered, and came back and gave us the same exact bill back. Then HE proceeded to tell us about it being the waitresses first day. We called him out on that lie and he then lied again and said, 'well it 's her first day on her own '. Um, no... She was on her own on TUESDAY. UGH! I get that it 's hard to find help during Covid-19, people get over worked and stressed, but if you want to keep the business you do have you may want to speak to your customers in a more professional and friendly manner. Not what we expected at all from a 'MANAGER '. That wasn 't the only error on our bills, but you get the idea. Check carefully and watch for errors!!"

"It is unlike any theater out there, with exception of its sister theater Hollywood Palms. They have real food (restaurant quality), tables, and comfortable chairs! You don't want to walk in late, because then it is hard to see the menu. You do have to order something. Each room has elborate different themes from movies old to new. They have a movie museum, and actual street meters from California's Hollywood Blvd. They have sign photos of famous movie people, and even some grave yard headstones. They have Casablanca's night time scene up on the 2nd level! It is beautiful! If you are quiet, they will let you look at each room. They also have a birthday club you can sign up for. You get an email for your birthday, with tickets for two. (It used to be 8, and for both theaters: Hollywood Blvd and Hollywood Palms). But it us still nice they do so, because no other theater that I know gives two tickets for your birthday! There are small stipulations of when you can use them, but it is not a big deal.Hollywood Palms ? does have elaboratetheater rooms too! They used to be owed by the same person. But now they are separate! But none of the rooms are the same, and none of the rooms are repeated between the two theaters either! Both are beautiful!Yes, Hollywood Palms does have real palm trees in the lobby! Hollywood Palms however, does not have a museum. But they do have a theater room with a fish tank. It is worth going to both! They both are fun and special to see!"

"Arrived with my husband and kids y.o and THe place was empty so there was no need for reservation. The host had us choose where to sit. Place is modern decor-dark greys, white, reddish light fixtures. Place seems small but looks nice, good bar area and bathroom was updated and clean. Waiter explained that he’s was new, which explained why he was unfamiliar with the fact that their website showed there was a kids menu and only gave us regular menus that had no kids menu. For the kids I specifically ordered plain burgers-hold the bread, with side order fries for the kids. We ordered two drinks-coconut margarita and a red sangria. Red sangria came in mason jar but the coconut drink was watered down and we ordered a sangria. Kids food came with the buns, some sort of topping that tasted like bbq/bacon with ground meat. Had to scrape it off for he kids to eat and the burgers were overcooked-had burnt grill marks. As a result my husband ordered just appetizers: chorizo flatbread, short rib tips, empanadas. The presentation was appealing, overall the appetizers tasted good, had flavor. The empanadas were spinach and cheese, chicken, and ropa vieja-The ropa vieja was a bit dry but ok. Overall the experience or rather the feel of the place was cozy, empty with a few young patrons at the bar. I would not come here again for dinner but on the positive note they are open for night time lounge. If I returned for drinks at night, I would probably just order just appetizers and drinks."
