"I ate at Las Delicias regularly, starting in 1987. I'm so happy when I get the chance to visit again, like seeing an old friend.Three of us went for dinner, excited. The neighborhood is very different, more vibrant, and expensive. The building has been through many transformations. The lighting is good, furnishings simple, artwork fitting, and appears clean. The hostess showed the three of us to a table by the window.Service was prompt, friendly and efficient. My carnitas plate looked hearty, well presented, and hot. The shredded beef chimichanga had been ordered with a special request, and , when brought to the waiters attention, was snapped from the table, taken to the kitchen, and a corrected plate returned.Flavor and taste were lacking. Portions were ample, the prices were higher than I remembered from over a year ago.Overall, OKAY. Probably just stick with my favorite neighborhood place next time."
