The boiled seafood with the chef's special sauce perfectly complements the green mussels, lobster, and king crab, all of which are high-quality and delicious. While the prices are somewhat on the higher side, the fantastic seafood experience in the Midwest makes it worth every penny. The Lobster fries are an absolute must-try—crispy fries topped with a creamy and flavorful lobster sauce, featuring real lobster. Both the Lobster fried rice and Crab fried rice are so delightful that I can’t choose a favorite between the two.
The Vietnamese dishes are a wonderful addition to the menu as well. Goi Muc and Goi Tom are refreshing and tasty, while the Crab with tamarind sauce is my top pick for a traditional seafood dish, striking the perfect balance between sour and sweet. The snails were decent, but they aren’t my favorite.
The restaurant itself is spacious and clean, making it an ideal spot for enjoying seafood. If you’re planning to visit with a large group (more than six people), I recommend calling ahead to reserve a table, as it tends to get quite busy on weekends.
Service here is friendly and quite prompt, enhancing the overall dining experience. However, I did notice a reduction in the amount of lobster served in the Lobster fried rice recently. Nonetheless, this restaurant remains an excellent seafood destination that I highly recommend!"
