"I had a nice experience at the restaurant, but there were a few areas that could be improved. The display case for the scrumptious candy was not well-maintained, and the lack of labels made it less inviting to order from. While your menu is extensive and very enticing, the food itself didn’t quite live up to expectations. The prepackaged avocado in my omelet was disappointing, especially for a local establishment that I expected to have fresh ingredients. I think it detracted from my enjoyment of the dish. I appreciate that the restaurant might be trying to save costs, but I would have preferred to see fresh avocado as a part of my meal rather than a prepackaged version. Perhaps it could be offered as a special when ripe avocados are available, rather than being a standard item on the menu. Despite these issues, I’m willing to give it another shot. The desserts seemed popular, and the overall vibe of the place was enjoyable enough to warrant a return visit."

"This restaurant is fantastic! Although parking may be a little challenging, the food and coffee were excellent. It's important to note that proof of vaccination is required to dine inside the cafe, but you can eat outside without showing proof. I ordered the smoked salmon omelette, which was absolutely delicious. The omelette was filled with a generous amount of cream cheese, but you can easily scoop out any excess if desired. The salad was also very tasty, with a vinaigrette-like dressing. The coffee, specifically the macchiato I ordered, was superb. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I will definitely be returning and have already recommended this place to my roommates. We plan on visiting together soon!"

"Holy smokers! That was only hands down the Best Breakfast Sandwich I ever had the privilege of breaking down. It was gigantic, breakfast Sandy on a Bulkie roll someone? It was perfectly cooked on request by medium. The Bacon was crunchy, not burned and not soggy, amazing yes, please! The management is intelligent enough to have a sign at the entrance to ask everyone to stay calm if pandemic, short staff and patience can not be expected to create all the fear that can hang. Nevertheless, the service staff were all very sweet, positive and accommodating. All about stopping Governor 's for a fast to-go bite was the best decision I made so far. Thank you."

"I frequently visit this Subway and use coupons for discounts on 6-inch subs, footlongs, meals, and more. They usually accept them without issue. However, one evening, the manager informed me that they don't accept coupons, which is incorrect because they happily take them during lunchtime when I usually go, and the staff member there knows me. The manager was rude and started speaking in another language when I tried to pay with a $100 bill, and she didn't even have enough cash in the register to give me change. It's frustrating when they lie about not accepting coupons and talk behind my back when I try to show that I'm paying. It's about sticking to principles."

"About four minutes later, I decided to wait inside the restaurant instead. After a few minutes, the employee handed me my order in a bag. I left the store and went to my car. As I was checking my subs to ensure everything was correct, the same employee unexpectedly approached my car window and accused me of taking an extra sub, claiming I had taken the first sandwich he had prepared for my order. I was infuriated because I hadn’t taken anything—he didn’t even give it to me when I first arrived. After stating that he had forgotten to make the second sandwich, I had left to wait for both sandwiches together. Thankfully, my boyfriend was in the car with me, which seemed to catch the employee off guard. He didn't have much to say after that, but it made me wonder, what if I had been alone? What would he have said or done? I wasn’t parked directly in front of Subway; I was on the opposite side of the parking lot. The fact that he recognized the car I was in was shocking to me. I rarely write reviews, but I couldn't let someone disrespect me in my personal space while I was in my car, accusing me of taking three subs—it’s ridiculous. He clearly wasn’t paying attention to the order or to what had transpired inside the restaurant. I suggest the Subway manager review the surveillance footage, sit the employee down, and discuss the situation. This behavior is unacceptable; he needs to be more attentive. I bet if I were a man, he wouldn’t have gone out of his way to approach my car over a sandwich. "rude staff. i don’t know if she was the hostess or another waitress. she was middle aged, heavy side bangs and white. she was making rude remarks towards my family and i. it was unnecessary and unprofessional. she was doing it with our waitress, Hannah as well. wish i would have gotten the ruder one’s name. the wings were cold and they messed up our pizza. the atmosphere was unwelcoming and oddly hostile. the food didn’t make it much worth it. i wouldn’t go back. "Great location if you’re looking for a meal on the Mag Mile. We were there at noon on a busy pre holiday Thursday and there was hardly anyone in there. Were told the burrata is homemade so ordered some as an appetizer. Was OK. I use Spaccia Napoli as my gold standard and this didn’t measure up. It was pleasing but I found it a little bland. Got the margherita pizza. It was subpar. Cheese was OK but sauce was bland and the crust was ordinary. Server was attentive and friendly. I hope they have success as their location should draw a lot of tourists and shoppers, but we probably won’t go back too many other options."

"Called order in was told order would be ready in 10 minutes. I said that is fine I'll be there. However there was a major freeway closure and i had to take side street. The side streets were over crowded because everyone was dealing with the trafficissue. Now it's about 40 minutes after the time I was supposed to be there to pick up my order. I received a call fromD'Elia's letting me know they were closing in 5 minutes. I got in there about 1 minute to closing picked up my order. The hotsandwich was nice and warm and the cold was nice and cool, and they were delicious as usual. The hectic trip was well worth it.The staff was very nice and understanding."

"The restaurant has potential, but my first experience was disappointing. I ordered through DoorDash for pick-up, but my order was entirely incorrect. They were out of almost everything I had requested and only informed me when I arrived. I ended up paying extra for items they didn't have. The pita bread was severely overcooked, and they forgot to include most of the ingredients I wanted in my bowl. "A fantastic spot for delicious American food! The service was excellent, and the decor captures the essence of a 1950s American diner. The onion rings and appetizers were both crispy and flavorful. The spicy burger was a treat, with a sauce that added an extra layer of flavor. The meat patty was well-seasoned, and I loved the cheese they used. However, I had requested a medium burger, and it came out a bit overcooked. Despite that, it was still enjoyable. For dessert, we had a cookies and cream shake that was absolutely scrumptious—perfectly balanced in consistency and sweetness. I can't wait to return!"

"I stumbled upon this place after getting a coupon and seeing how close it was to my apartment. After my first calzone, I quickly became a repeat customer. Of things I love most in the world, calzones rank pretty high. Within a few weeks, the owner knew my order (even when I forgot it) and who I was, because he is just that personable. They're speedy (even when they?re piled with orders), the calzones are DELICIOUS, and they always have great customer service! This will ALWAYS be my top choice for calzones. The Chick-N-Bacon Zone (with extra ranch), and the Bro Zone are so good!! Unfortunately, I am moving to the other side of the valley, but I will still make the drive out for my calzones."

"I was very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The place was unclean and the staff seemed unkempt. I ordered a Reuben, but it was just a small amount of chopped corned beef with a tiny bit of sauerkraut and a bit of Swiss cheese on two small pieces of barely warmed rye bread, topped with an unusual sauce that was neither Russian nor Thousand Island. It cost me $12! To make matters worse, there was a baby sitting on the floor in the dining area while what appeared to be a very young mother tended to the grill. Other family members were present too, all dressed in dirty clothes and looking quite disheveled. I can't believe the health department hasn't closed this place down! On the positive side, I will say that everyone was very friendly."

"This is one of those few oddball places that has been around Greensboro longer than I have, but yet, I had somehow never stopped in until recently. It wasn't our original destination, the place we tried to go was not open on Mondays, but Jam's was right there and I said let's give it a shot. While it seems from other reviews they may have some consistency issues, our visit was great! I was in the mood for hot dogs, and not having any idea how theirs were, I went for a pair all the way with hot chips. The price was very reasonable, and when the basket came out, it was stuffed with two loaded dogs and overflowing with crispy chips. Good sign for sure. The hot dogs themselves were a couple of the most plump franks I have seen, and they had a nice flavor to them. The chili was meaty, maybe too much so for many, but I felt it balanced really well with the slaw, onions, and mustard. The only way these could have been better would be a buttered and grilled bun, overall, I was quite happy. My chips were hot and crispy top to bottom, and the ranch was great. Hard for me to complain at all. The inside of this place is definitely retro. Clean just dated, but honestly, it's totally fine with the vibe they are going for, and I'm sure a renovation would require raising prices. I say keep it how it is, and continue to provide solid food. I'll be curious to see how it is going forward, but on a first visit, I was very happy and will return!"
