"We started with the classic chips and salsa and decided to try the queso with ground beef. The queso was tasty, but the ground beef wasn't to my liking; it wasn’t necessary, and I could have done without it. I had the fried chicken taco and the beef brisket taco. I assumed the entire fried chicken taco would be fried based on its description, but that wasn't the case. Unfortunately, the fried chicken taco didn't meet my expectations either. However, the brisket taco was fantastic—simple yet satisfying in every way.
The rice was decent, though a bit drier than I usually enjoy. For dessert, my partner and I shared a slice of tres leches cake, which was the highlight of our meal! It had a light texture and perfect consistency—not too moist, just right. Overall, we had a wonderful time at Taco Diner, and we look forward to returning!"
