"The folks at 5 De Mayo were very friendly, and the food was some of the best Mexican food I've had. It's located a bit off the beaten path, but it's definitely worth the effort. Our server was attentive, and double-checked if we really wanted the picante/hot version of the salsa (it was indeed VERY hot. The chips were obviously made in store, and were crispy and tasty. We ordered the Carne Asada tacos, and the Carnitas plate. Our food came out within ten minutes. The meat on both dishes had a crisp sear, yet remained very tender inside. The side order of beans was seasoned well, and the rice was perfect. I would come back here any time!"
