"Home-y atmosphere, welcoming owner, and food was amazing. I was even given a free slice of their Tiramisu (which was amazing, in my opinion . It is a cute little Hole in the Wall place that will definitely be getting us as a return customer. I ask anyone who is planning on going to just be open as I was. I got the Baked Zitti with Meatballs (yum!! My girls got their hot wings and a slice of pepperoni pizza, which they liked. Hubby got the Steak Sub Sandwich (he we extremely happy with his choice . The owner speaks both English and Spanish, so language barriers are no problem. The whole time we were there, the only people coming in were Dashers. So they are at least known a little. I hope my review can help them bring in more customers."

"I wish I could have taken a picture of the pizza, but we were too hungry! Haha. I have to say that the calzone was my favorite, but both the pizza and the calzone were generously topped with cheese at no extra cost. The toppings were fresh, and my entire order was absolutely delicious. The menu you see is actually an old one from the previous owners, so I strongly recommend checking the actual website for the correct menu and prices, as they differ. I highly recommend this place; you definitely won't be disappointed!"

"This is a definite must try, everything I have ever had was delicious. The fries are amazing. The staff is really friendly. They have a cute little diner to eat in. I had the breaded chicken sandwich with mayo, lettuce and american cheese, it left me craving more. They have 3 locations and all are equally fantastic. I have never had a bad meal here. The prices are great especially if you live on a strict budget like I do."

"I was working at WeWork San Diego and wanted to find a local deli that was affordable. Fred's popped up on search and I decided to give it a try. The lunch combo was around $12 for a hot sandwich, chips, and a drink.Fred was there himself and obviously has built a reputation with the locals, which I really loved to see. The deli almost feels like a bodega, it's so simple but you can tell everyone loves it and so did I. He was really friendly despite being very busy and flooded with customer. I appreciated that.My hot tuna sandwich was delicious and honestly a great meal after a long day of morning meetings. "This is a fantastic little spot! It offers just about everything you could need. While it's not a full grocery store, it definitely has more variety than a typical bodega. They have prepared meals, bacon, fresh fruits and vegetables, and even steak in the refrigerator. Plus, you'll find all the usual snacks and chips. However, the real highlight here is the sandwiches!
