"Adding to the odd experience was the bar trivia night, which I usually enjoy but felt mismatched with the ambiance here. The service was quite slow; it appeared that only one bartender was handling both drinks and food preparation, and he spent most of his time behind the bar rather than attending to customers.
From what I gathered from the reviews and website, I expected a full dinner menu, but they only offered sandwiches for entrées. While they were good, we ended up waiting two hours before deciding we could no longer wait for our food. Perhaps this place is better suited for drinks rather than a full dining experience.
Our server did apologize for the long wait for our sandwich and kindly gave it to us to-go for free, which was a nice gesture. I have to admit that when I heated the sandwich up the next day, it was pretty tasty. Ultimately, it seems like the owner wanted to create a bar that incorporated all his favorite aspects, resulting in a somewhat confused mix of lounge and bar vibes that didn’t quite hit the mark. Maybe we just visited on an off night. It’s worth a look, at least while it’s still open."
