"I was happy with the prices, but about half of the dishes didn't meet my expectations. The standout items were the meatballs, which were large, flavorful, and just slightly overcooked. The zucchini appetizer was also enjoyable and a great healthy choice for vegetarians. Unfortunately, the Caesar salad was wilted, and for $6.50, the portion size was laughable. Was the Caesar dressing meant to be served on the side? I certainly didn’t taste it. The biggest disappointment, however, was the fettuccine Alfredo. While I usually like pasta cooked al dente, this was overcooked, and the sauce was almost watery and lacking in flavor. Luckily, I managed to improve it a bit by adding a lot of my own Parmesan and pepper, and I even tried baking it to enhance the flavor. Still, serving watery Alfredo sauce is just unacceptable. I'm willing to give Doughboy's Pizzeria another shot, but I think next time I'll stick to something with dough. Maybe that was the mistake I made."
