"I went through the drive-thru and ordered four cheese coneys with extra cheese. The total came to $12.25, which works out to around $3.00 per coney. When I mentioned this, the cashier said she didn't set the prices. It turns out they charge an extra $4.00 for heavy cheese or an additional dollar per coney. Each coney is normally $1.89, but mine ended up costing $2.89 plus tax. It would have been more cost-effective to just order six coneys without mentioning anything about the cheese. Is it worth paying a dollar more for light cheese? What's even more frustrating is that they didn't even have the extra cheese available. I don't mind paying a bit extra for something special, but $1.00 extra for each coney is a bit much. This place is the worst if you ask for any modifications. You may be satisfied when you receive your order, but you'll be disappointed when you see the bill. I used to come here often, but now they charge extra for making it to your liking. I overheard the manager scolding a worker for putting two olives instead of one. The workers seemed upset over such a small mistake. It's more than just a nickel-and-dime situation; it's a management issue. The workers do their best to follow instructions, but it seems like they can't win. I used to enjoy Skyline Chili, but I think I'll give Gold Star a try next time."
