"Been going to this location since 2009 and it used to be great. Now- the wings are way overpriced, they put the larger wings on top then the majority are tiny so they throw them on the bottom so you don't even see them until you get home, they taste funny, they're over cooked, everything is fried in old/stale oil, the fries are always soggy and cold. We went on New Year's Eve and the fries taste like onion rings and the wings were just......horrible. No matter what time you show up your order isn't ready at the promised time or even 20 minutes after the promised time. You used to be able to see in the back where they were cooking but that is covered with a catering banner so who even knows what's going on back there with your food. It's really disappointing because the guy who is cooking has been there since we started going in 2009 and he's the main reason we have been going back. He's always been nice/polite to me and my kids, and he is always apologetic when we have to wait a while for our food. Seems like I've gone there numerous times and he is the only one taking orders, collecting payments, and making the food. The rest of the staff is just rude. I can't afford to pay almost $50 for 30 funny tasting wings and some cold soggy fries, not to mention the cost of the sauce. Everything in there is covered in layers of grease. It would be easier to look past that if the food was still good. The new owners need to shut down, renovate, do a DEEP clean of the whole restaurant, get rid of the fake jewelry/clothes/purses they're selling at the front of the restaurant, and add some chairs since we all wait so long for our food to be ready. Or buy the Dairy Queen next door so they can expand to double the size of the kitchen, hire more staff, buy actual catfish, and make better tasting food. When I was in high school, I used to go to the one by Walmart- because there was no other place to go, and haven't been back since this one opened. Now I'm thinking I might have to give them another try because where else can you get good wings around here (don't say Baba's....their food is trash)?"

"Fun and so tasty. Landlubbers is a local institution...if you like lots of noise and lots of drinkers you'll love it here. But the food is pretty darn decent for a bar type restaurant. Most of the time the seafood is fresh and tasty. The conch chowder is about as good as you can get. They have lots of good specials too. Though the management is very unattentive and sometimes rude, as if they say, we are packed all the time, so we don't care if you have a complaint. Luckily, I don't have too many complaints and the food wins over the surly manager types. The servers can be down right slow at times, but then again, it's always packed. Shrimp night on sunday is a good deal, but stay away from the fried shrimp...I think it's just fried dough with a mini piece of shrimp stuck in there. Garlic shrimp are great and hot...but order a lot up fornt...it usually takes forever to get refills and they get smaller and smaller each time. Despite it all, I would suggest you go to Landlubbers. This center has a lot of restaurants to try by the way. La Cholitos is a Peruvian joint that is really really good. They have good shrimp too and if you are looking for some local flavor this is the place. Thai Thai is about as good as any Thai joint around. The prices are a bit steep for the portions, but it's always consistent. Hungry Howies is pretty new and at $5.55 for a large pizza, when we are on a budget but still want a decent pizza, I suggest them. For dessert you gotta go to Goofles which has amazing frozen custard, this great soft ice cream. You'll never go to Dairy Queen again for sure. They also have a real creamy Italian Ice that with the custard is to die for. King Chef is your typical Chinese carryout. It's always dependable to be rather tasty. Nothing special, but when you have the mood for Chinese you can't go wrong."

"While the food was pretty decent, I have to review this place strictly on customer service. I called in an order for pickup at 3:18 PM and was told that the pizza and salad would be ready in 20 minutes, meaning 3:38 PM. Since I was in the area of my place where I buy Michelada mix, I decided I would go there first and pick one up. I arrived at Joey 's at about 3:45 PM and was greeted by the worker who was ringing up another customer. I said I was there to pick up a call in order and I provided my name. He said just a minute. At about 3:50 PM, a woman entered the building and went back to the kitchen and began putting together a pizza. I quickly noticed that the pizza was the exact one that I had ordered at 3:18 over the phone. She slowly measured out the products using a scale making the wait even longer. I made a comment that I had called that order in 30 minutes ago and that if I wanted to wait in the store to cook, I would have ordered it when I got there. At that point, the male worker yelled from the back, It 's coming out soon, shut up! The audacity of this worker to tell a customer to shut up when the customer is pointing out terrible business practices floored me. The fact is, this place deserves no business from me or anyone if they are going to treat their customers with that amount of disrespect. Plus $37 for a large pizza and a salad is outrageous. My call...Boycott this place!"

"I am from Ohio, and I appreciate a good fried fish restaurant. I live in newnan and work down the street from this location. I have often seen and been interested in actually trying it. Well today my boyfriend wanted to surprise me at work and bring me lunch. He ordered the food at 11:45am. He brought me a meal with fries, perch, flounder, and shrimp. I ate most the shrimp and only had a few bites of one of the fish, not sure which one it was.I didn’t finish my food, I was going toSave it for later. A couple hours later I was doing a review with one of my managers and I start feeling really sick. My stomach bubbling and mouth watering like I’m going to throw up.After about 30 minutes I couldn’t take it anymore, so I book it for newnan to go home. That was the longest drive of my life! When I finally got home i wasn’t able to hold it anymore (both ends of you know what i mean) after I felt a little better after getting the food out of me.Needless to say i am writing this from bed.I wanted to check these reviews and see what I got myself into.As a fellow restaurant manager, I supervise 3 locations and I urge the staff here to check the storage and cooling procedures for the fish and shrimp. Something wasn’t right and you don’t want anyone else to get sick.I’m not going to try hospital, I’m not dying, so no need to do a report or anything.Just be careful.Have a good day."
