"Ordered delivery for someone sick (Covid), they hung the order on door handle. Paid for a quart of chicken noodle soup yet asked for a pint of just chicken broth because I want to be fair to the business knowing broth costs more than noodles and veggies. The broth lid was not secure and leaked all over most of the order. Chicken nuggets, other soup, and Lo mein was fine. Pizza Rolls were 'marinated in broth ' as was his rug, floor, counter. $4+ pint of broth was almost empty. They called to say ty, told me what happened yet said nuggets and lo mein were delicious-yet that have covid so the validity of flavor is suspect lol. When I called to let them know, the lady said I pack and put them on bottom myself (customer service 101 is never take a complaint personal-take it as someone is affording the opportunity to do better next time.)I said well DID YOU hang them on the door handle? She said Hold On after speaking in native language what seemed like forever, she comes back and said return pizza rolls and we replace I repeated the sick person does not want to share germs and the purpose was to have it delivered for a sick person.. She said, Hang them on door and we replace . I told her, let me call them back before you remake to make sure they didn 't feed them to the dog or something. Again, being just respectful to their time and money.I called the recipient of food back, they said the nuggets, lo mien and egg drop was good enough, they felt so poor they didn 't want to deal with it, just wanted to go to sleep if that was ok with me. I said, of course! my intention was to make them feel better not worse. So I called business back and get an abrupt ok goodbye. Not even a we 're sorry, we appreciate you business, we appreciate you looking out for us Nothing.I do not want a penny from them, just an I m sorry , We will do better next time rather than being treated like a thief or scammer would have us return.Mistakes on orders happen and are excusable at times. What is not excusable is POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Buyers beware for a fight if they make a mistake. I personally, will never order from here again and neither will the recipient of the order. Sad"

"This place is hands down five star when you can order online and get what you actually want. When you have to order on the phone or in person, however, my rating goes down to three stars. When China Express ' Internet is down, you are still guaranteed to get good portions of tasty Asian American comfort food for the price, but you 're not guaranteed to get what you actually ordered. This is because your order might not be understood, like today when I ordered my usual but got orange chicken instead of fries. I didn 't specify with 'French ', ' so the cashier may have thought I was ordering some sort of fried Chicken. I was wondering why the total was almost $4 more than what it usually is, that wrote it off as due to recent inflation trends and COVID-19 induced scarcities. Nope ... they got the wrong order, but I got my rib tips and I like orange chicken so I 'm not going to complain when I eat that for lunch tomorrow. So my overall rating is four stars ... The average of my experiences based on the mode of ordering. If you order on the phone or in person and the price seems off, it would be wise to insist on them repeating the order back to you. The ownership of this restaurant is also kindly advised to remind the cashiers to listen more carefully to customers and repeat orders back. I understand that English isn 't always the first language of employees in family run Chinese restaurants, and mask wearing and plexiglass Shields make communication worse, but getting orders right is still a must for 5 star OG status."

"Wouldn't recommend eating here but not bad for a last minute cheap dinner. We live about 10 minutes away on the other side of marsh road in the city and have tried many chinese takeout places. This one ranks in the middle, maybe a bit lower. Price: average to cheap (9.95 for a combo or 10-15 for a full size portion) Service: we ordered online and picked up with no issues, only took about 15-20 minutes Food: we got the wings platter, beef and broccoli combo, sesame chicken combo, and wonton soup. Wings was average but not as meaty as other spots. Not the worst wings out there though. Beef and broccoli had a funny smell and taste with the sauce, but beef tasted very real and beefy compared to others. Sauce ruined it. Sesame chicken was great it was our favorite dish out of everything. Wontons were average. Definitely frozen and thick wrapping compared to meat but also edible and not as bad as other wontons I've had. The biggest issue we noticed was the food was on the bland side, BUT the eggrolls were EXTREMELY salty. The outside was nice and crispy but the inside was soggy and tasted saltier than potato chips. I think it must've just been a bad batch because theres no way they can be constantly that salty. Also when we ordered online the combos were supposed to come with PORK fried rice but instead they came with PLAIN fried rice. See pictures. Overall I wouldn't come here again unless you're okay with mediocre bland food, salty eggrolls, and missing pork in your rice. Everything else was okay. Much prefer the place 2 blocks closer to us. We only tried this place because the other place was closed on Tuesday."
