"I've been hearing good things about Palermo's and was eager to try it out. My family and I really wanted to enjoy everything we ordered, but unfortunately, only the pizza and garlic bread hit the mark. The pizza was tasty, though the crust wasn't as crisp as I usually prefer. The marinara sauce was quite flavorful. However, both pasta dishes were disappointing. The penne pesto was very bland, and the cream sauce tasted like unsalted butter, so I had to add some seasoning to improve it. The ziti had a great cheese pull but also lacked flavor; we ended up adding some toasted garlic, salt, and pepper to enhance it. On the bright side, both pasta dishes were served piping hot! The mozzarella sticks were just okay and tasted like they had been frozen. Overall, we'll definitely return for the pizza."
