"Burger King is a chain that has had its ups and down. Once upon a time, they even had locations in the city of Torrance, but today there are none. The nearest Burger King to me is this one in the harbor corridor, in the city of Los Angeles, even though it has a mailing address that makes some people think it's actually in the City of Torrance. The Whopper is their signature burger. I've always liked it. When I had my first Whopper, back in the 1960s, it seemed huge in size, especially in comparison to a (pre-Big Mac) McDonalds hamburger. A big bun, big beef patty, and lots of toppings. Variations of that original burger remain, all generally better than what can be found in a standard fast-food burger joint. The quality of the burgers here has been fairly consistent in my 20+ years of occasionally visiting this location. You'll receive pretty much what you're expecting. The inside of the restaurant has usually been clean. Outside, it's a mixed bag, sometimes fine but sometimes there is the detritus of the local homeless who frequently show up here."
