"This is a fantastic casual sushi restaurant! Although it's a small space, it has a nice, calm atmosphere that really drew me in. It reminded me a lot of Path of Tea on Westheimer. I visited on Valentine's Day, expecting it to be crowded, but surprisingly, there weren't too many people there, which was unexpected given how delicious the food is. It has that cozy, hidden gem vibe. I particularly enjoyed the osumashi soup—it was packed with flavor—and the salmon was excellent as well! Everything tasted very fresh, the staff was attentive and friendly, and the overall experience felt genuinely authentic. I highly recommend checking it out!"

"Visiting Ta Chen was one of the most authentic and welcoming dining experiences I've ever had. I went there on Christmas Eve, and when I arrived, my food wasn't quite ready yet. The owner, David, kindly offered me some soup, water, and a cookie while I waited. He shared stories about his 37 years in business and expressed his love for Garden Grove. It was clear that both the customers before and after me had a personal connection with him. And let me tell you, the food was fantastic! What a gem of a place!"

"I am not sure I want to know what's in the salad dressing because its so sweet and delicious (and I see you can buy it in a bottle! The salad itself is basic iceberg mix but the dressing makes up for it. Huge portion of all white meat chicken teriyaki hit the spot today. I'm not a dark meat fan so this was especially nice to have the option! Lots of choices, fast service, convenient location. Also open on Sunday!"

"Went to lunch yesterday for the first time. We started with spring roll appetizer, was really delicious and the sweet pepper ? dipping sauce is out of this world! For the main dishes 2 of us got shrimp fried rice, an 11 year old got the potstickers with butterfly shrimp, and the last person had the chicken and veggies stir fry......every dish was amazingly delicious........I had never had Korean style food, but thought it would be similar to Chinese......this is even better than our local Chinese restaurants in my opinion......also they have no MSG in their meals.......We will be back again for sure!"

"I came here by recommendation from my boyfriends coworker who was raving about the oriental chicken salads. A huge benefit is it's a 2 minute driving distance from my house. Ordered an oriental chicken salad and the spring rolls. I was slightly confused when I got the spring rolls because I'm used to the Vietnamese kind where they're cold noodles but they were delicious either way. The salad was nearly 9 dollars and all it is is grocery bagged salad mix, chicken, cilantro, and the crispy things so in my opinion it's a bit overpriced but let me tell you they really pack that box so it's okay. Im kind of picky about my salads too. Also I don't know what they put in that dressing but it's addicting. Glad I found this little gem and will frequent when I'm trying to eat a little more healthy (minutes the fried spring rolls) I've heard good things about the other menu items and saw they have a Friday special on ramen so I'm sure I'll update soon!"

"I visited this restaurant for the first time with a friend who has been there several times and highly recommended it. I tried several items from the menu, including six sushi rolls (one of which was the Mango Sushi Tower, minus the spicy tuna, as shown in the photo), gyoza, and chicken yakisoba. I must say, everything I tried was delicious! I arrived around 5:30 PM on a weekday, and the restaurant was quiet, so we were served promptly and received our food quickly. However, by 6:30 PM, it got quite busy. Our server was friendly and offered great sushi recommendations. The restaurant was clean, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!"

"Seattle pho is something I have missed ever since I moved away, especially when I am feeling under the weather. On a recent trip to visit friends, I found myself a bit under the weather and knew exactly what I wanted for dinner. I took the recommendations of others who said this place had the best veggie pho, and I was not led astray! This was seriously the best veggie pho I've ever had! It was fresh and flavorful, and the tofu was cooked just right. I liked that there was an option for a larger broth, as the broth is really my jam when it comes to pho. I even found the noodles better than others I've had, and I can only explain that as the right ratio of broth to noodles. All in all, this is a great spot, and I would definitely get more pho from them when I am back in Seattle!"

The Wildcat roll felt a bit small, likely due to its specialty ingredients. My husband had a teriyaki bowl that was quite generous in portion size. The only downside was a mild cooking or fryer smell typical of smaller restaurants, which might cling to your clothes—so it’s best to wear something easy to wash."

"For many years this has been our go-to spot when visiting Carpinteria.A bowl of hot Shrimp Tom Kha with rice is like a staple for the soul of our tastebuds and belly. Noodle dishes are always hot, fresh, and delicious. Back when my youngest was small she would order a chicken noodle dish and ask for all vegetables on the side and they'd do it perfectly every time. The staff here is quick, attentive, and always serving with a smile, which boggles my mind because kindness worn on the face can be a challenge, yet they do it. We have never ordered anything we would not return for, however do opt to try new things once in a while."

"False Advertising! If you want authentic Soba noodles don 't go here. Yamazato has good food but not the Soba noodles as advertised. I would give it 4-5 stars if they did, but I was disappointed to find the Soba noodles were spaghetti noodles, when I picked up the order, I asked are they Soba noodles? "It's doesn't cost extra to be nice.An oldman with walker walked in, and asked for cup of ice water. The big lady in the counter replied 1. The old man said ok can you fill it with ice first then put the water. The lady got annoyed with this request and refused to sell the oldman cup of ice.The old man is paying so he can make the request like everyone else, and the lady exercising her right to refuse service because she got annoyed. Fair enough.Her customer service would have been applauded if she serve the oldman even it's only a 1.Don't get me wrong I love the food here but people in the service need to be have humility and kindness esp with elders.I used to worked at McDonald, and I tried to serve older people with better service and even helped them put their trays to their table esp the one on the wheelchair and walker back then senior coffee was on .65 cent and comes with sugar and cream depends how seniors like their coffee."

"After a nearly four year hiatus we returned to a Ginza in the midst of a crisis. The place looks terrible and run down. The food wasn 't much better. My 2012 roll was fine, but my wife had numerous problems with her order. We had ordered Shrimps with mixed veggies in mango sauce . The first dish to arrive wasn 't even shrimp, but chicken... so that got sent back. After a bit of a wait the Shrimp dish came out and I spotted Issues with it right away. Only one vegetable, red pepper was mixed in with the stir fry. The more serious issue was the Shrimps were not cleaned well an I found fecal tracks on 3 of them. We let the waitress know and she rightfully compensated heus with a free dessert and price adjustment. Yet gave us a half-assed apology and excuses that no manager was there and the restaurant was in the middle of changing ownership . With so many other restaurants of this genre, I see no reason to return"

"In my opinion, this is the best Thai restaurant in Portland. The food is incredibly delicious and the service is very efficient. I highly recommend trying their Ginger Fish, Kai Yang, and Broccoli with Pork. The Ginger Fish is perfectly crispy, and the fish itself is incredibly fresh. I'm also a huge fan of the Kai Yang, which features grilled chicken marinated with a mix of herbs, served with sticky rice and a homemade sauce. The broccoli is crispy, juicy, and has a delightful aromatic sweetness that lingers on the palate. Their drinks, like Thai iced tea and Thai iced coffee, are also fantastic. Overall, this is an excellent Thai restaurant. I've been to many Thai places in Portland but rarely take the time to leave reviews on Google or Yelp. This is the first establishment that I felt was truly worth reviewing. It's an amazing restaurant!"
