"Pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem. Been living here for years but never knew this hole in the wall existed. Surprised at the quality of the sushi. Look how awesome it is! Huge helping of seaweed salad. Fresh fish and well-made rolls. Wonton soup and lo mein were also decent. Great value! Will definitely be back!"

"I used to order from this restaurant every Saturday evening, but my recent experience has changed my mind. When my food was delivered, I discovered that some items were missing. I called to inform them, and the young girl I spoke with was quite rude, saying they would deliver the missing items later. When I called back, I was told they would address the issue on my next order instead. It felt like they couldn't be bothered to resolve the problem right away. "Fraudulent experience. The chow mein didn’t actually include chow mein—just vegetables and a protein option. Why not just call it “vegetables and protein”? When I called to address the issue, they told me I had ordered incorrectly and suggested I should have ordered "mein fun." "Mein" means noodle in English! They also skimped on the wontons; the meat inside is barely the size of my thumbnail, while the wonton wrappers are as big as my palm."

"China Best has been our #1 go-to Chinese restaurant as long as we have lived in Hayward. There is not a single dish of disappointment, but our absolute favorites are: walnut prawn, combination chow fun, salt pepper pork, and Mongolian beef. Last night we had friends over, so we picked up: peking spare rib (aka sweet and sour pork ribs), eggplant and tofu in garlic sauce, combination pan fried noodle, and fish fillet in black bean sauce. It's making me hungry again writing this post.The owner is an absolute sweetheart. When I first started going to the restaurant, I was pregnant with my second child and made extra requests like not adding any salt to salt pepper pork... now I think about it that's ridiculous but she made it happen for me with always a smile on her face. It's a family-fun restaurant that can be trusted by local residents. Kid-friendliness: All my kids love the owner and get excited when I tell them we are picking up from China Best Parking: We pick up quite often, but never had an issue finding a spot"

"We had gone there in the past…quite a lot (maybe a year ago). I believe it has changed hands because the last two times were very disappointing. Combination wanton/egg drop soup: wantons were very doughy the soup had hardly any “egg drop” in it watery. PuPu platter: ribs were fatty tough. Beef skewers were tough. Both of the past basted in a teriyaki BBQ sauce. Egg rolls: dry hard (thrown away). Shrimp: mushy (thrown away). Fried wantons: hard as a rock. Chicken wings: over done pigeon wings? Crab Rangoon: hard to tell, no flavor. No shrimp toast (as in menu). Lemon Chicken: small pieces of mushy chicken coated in a thick mushy breading tossed in a lemony flavor sauce. Shrimp with lobster sauce: Sauce was almost like the egg drop soup, with peas mushy shrimp. Sorry to say, we won’t be ordering there in the future. There are other Chinese takeout restaurants close by that will be tried. The new owners should have kept the old recipes."

"If I can give them one star, I’d be happy to. Came in to buy two lunch “specials”. It cost $23.55 for 2 lunch special, so what’s the regular price for a chicken broccoli and white rice, and a can of coke? Restaurant looks like a luxury spot and they’re super pricey, best part? THE FOOD TASTED HORRIBLE. WORST CHINESE SPOT IVE EVER ATE AT. Had to dispose of the food because I didn’t know if it was cooked, meat was super stiff. YUCK! I’ve wasted my money and time there. "During our visit to Henderson, NV, after exploring Northern AZ Canyon Country, our family was craving Chinese food. We discovered Chopstix on Yelp, which had mostly positive reviews, so we decided to order takeout. The owner who answered the phone was very clear and friendly, making it easy to place a large order for four. About 20 minutes later, we arrived just as the food was being packed. The owner was very attentive, reviewing each dish with us to ensure everything was correct. He also provided plates, napkins, chopsticks, and forks for our convenience. The meal was excellent! The Egg Foo Young, Orange Chicken, Lo Mein Noodles, Fried Rice, and Pork Pad Thai were all cooked to perfection. I highly recommend Chopstix!"

"May is my go-to server, and I truly appreciate her! She knows exactly what I like and ensures that her team gets my order right every time. My favorite dish is the shrimp with broccoli in garlic sauce, and I always add chicken to it. It's one of my top choices, and she always prepares it perfectly.
