"When I brought up the missing iced teas and the onion issue, the waitress apologized and removed the iced teas from our bill. However, when it came time to pay, she presented a receipt that already included a 20% tip. She seemed upset when I didn’t leave an additional tip and even asked why I only paid for the food. While I understand that tipping is customary, I believe it should reflect the quality of the service and the accuracy of the order.
I sympathize with her being overworked, which is something the restaurant management needs to address, but my experience as a customer was disappointing. I received only half of my order, and the part I received had an ingredient I specifically asked to have removed.
That said, I enjoyed my dish of mixed veggies with chicken, although my partner was not happy with his meal since he dislikes onions, which was unfortunately what we had anticipated. I would consider giving this restaurant another chance if the owners work on better staff management and ensure that they are adequately staffed to meet customer needs."
