"The General Tso’s chicken stood out as one of the best I've had from takeout; while it wasn't crispy on the outside, it was far from being mushy. I won't hold that against them since it was takeout. The flavor was solid, and the sauce was excellent—I'd rate it a 7/10.
The Kung Pao chicken also delivered great taste and quality, earning an 8/10. As for the bourbon chicken, it was decent but didn't quite match the nostalgic mall food court version many of us remember (perhaps that's just me). It had good flavor, but it wasn’t exactly what I was hoping for in terms of that bourbon taste—I'd give it a 6/10.
The yellow curry was a highlight and completely exceeded my expectations for a place primarily known for American Chinese food. It had a rich, delicious flavor that was difficult to describe but perfectly captured what curry should be. The hot and sour soup also impressed me; while it wasn't the absolute best I've had, it might be the second best. I try every hot and sour soup I encounter, and this one was so good that even after stuffing myself, I’m tempted to grab the leftovers from the fridge right now!
The egg rolls had a good flavor but were on the smaller side and not very crispy. This might have been due to the takeout, so I’ll rate them 4/10. The beef cho cho was okay but a bit dry, earning just a 2/10. The cheese wontons, on the other hand, were generously sized and filled with cream cheese (they even had crab stick mixed in!). They had great flavor and were not greasy or heavy, so I’m giving them a 9/10. The lo mein was average; nothing special there, so it gets a 5/10.
Unfortunately, I didn’t take any pictures because I didn’t expect to enjoy the food so much. I highly recommend trying this place out so they can stay in business and I can continue to enjoy their food!"
