"This is definitely the best Togo's in the Bay Area, located in my lovely town of East Palo Alto. I frequent this place three times a week! It's the cleanest and friendliest sandwich spot on the entire peninsula. Make sure to mention that Coach Anthony recommended you! With 15 years of experience managing restaurants, I can say this place gives me the same positive vibes! The service is fast, friendly, and the restrooms are cleaned three times a day, if not more!"

"Did takeout of a wrap plus a cold roast beef sandwich. Wrap was fine according to my wife. First bite of the sandwich was.... odd. After a second bite I figured out that the roast beef seemed to have a lot of chewy gristle. The taste was ok enough but having to chew through each bite put me off. I will call this strike one and maybe strike two and see in the future how things go. I 've had this sandwich maybe 5-10 times in the last past, and this was the 'worst ' one yet. Short leash... one more like this will likely be the last time we come back to Togo 's for a takeout meal."

"I arrived at exactly 8:48 and the lady behind the counter was extremely rude clearly because she wanted to close earlier than she was supposed too. She kept asking if I had a problem because I asked for her name which she did not provide and she stated she was the manager when I asked to speak to one. Very rude simply because I walked in when she was counting the money closing her register 12 minutes before closing time. The lights to the dinjng room were off including the Open signs way before closing time to attempt to lure customers away. Very unprofessional."

"So, At first I asked for the pretzel Rami from the gentleman with the beard and I guess they no longer sell it so I went with a regular hot pastrami. Got it home and it was a roast beef sandwich. The most frustrating part is I tried calling several timesand I got a message stating that they were too busy to answer the phone. Very frustrating especially for sandwich that wasalmost $13. And of course I said I didn't want a receipt! Based on previous reviews this seems to be a reoccurring theme!"

"I'm disappointed to report that the number 9 was $12, which feels excessive. I understand we're in a COVID-affected economy with rising prices, but it just doesn't sit right with me! "I had been craving a Togo's sandwich for a few weeks, so I finally decided to stop by on my way home from church. I had a brief wait in line before being warmly greeted by the person preparing my food (I guess I could call her a "preparess" since she was female). After confirming that the wrap I wanted to order for my grandma—who absolutely cannot handle spicy food—was mild, I placed my order for the wrap and a sandwich for myself. The service was both quick and friendly, and I look forward to returning to try some of their salads, which sounded delicious. My sandwich craving was definitely satisfied! One thing I really appreciated was the kindness of the person preparing my food. I told her not to mind me watching her roll the wrap because I wanted to learn from a professional. Every time I try to roll wraps at home, they never turn out quite right. She graciously rolled it in front of me as a sort of tutorial, which I thought was really sweet of her."

"I?ve been a regular customer for years and I?ve never had bad service from them. There?s a girl that always ignores me when I come in. I have to say something everytime. She has the worst service, so I stopped letting her take my order and asked forother workers to help me out. I?m giving two stars only because I had good service from a couple people. I?m always kind to themand I always tip when I come in, but for some reason the younger girls do not acknowledge the customers. I finally had to walkout because of the disrespect from this one worker and missed out on my dinner. It sucks that this is the only togos in Vallejo,I would definitely take my business elsewhere. "Hot ham and cheese was so soggy you coudnt even eat it without it dripping all over it was way too much mustard and mayo on there. The bread was drenched. My turkey and cheese was made with barely any turkey . Very dissapointing. I used to love this Togos but this is the second time ive gotten below standard sandw and meal and I AM NOT one to write a rev but I feel I had too since my favorite sandwich place has gone drastically down hill. Hoping they make a comeback ."

"This review is in regards to today 's takeout order.. my daughter works 12-hour shifts at the hospital over night. She comes home in the morning and sleeps half the day so when she wakes up she 's hungry. She ordered her food online and went to pick it up.Somehow she got double charged but they quickly voided it.. however, in the process they forgot to give her the Asian chickensalad dressing.. the best part of that salad. I understand that mistakes can be made but we are living in hard times and gas isexpensive! When we called back we got a quick I 'm sorry .. but my daughter had to go clear across town again to get thedressing. It would have been nice to SHOW that they were sorry by giving her a coupon or something! It 's really hard because ingeneral when we check our bags to see if everything is in it, we get dirty looks as if we 're judging them for not doing itright.. yet, we have no choice but to check them every time. I have noticed these days that most businesses show they aresorry... not in this case."

"Let me start out by saying I had a bad experience with Togo's quite awhile ago, (1990's), mainly the cleanliness. Back then, I went into the bathroom and the toilet bowl was full of you know what. I was horrified. A dirty establishment is a directreflection on management, meaning they do not care. There is no way around this or any explanation you can provide me that willchange my mind. I did end up eating here but that was also horrid. Now to your bathroom and the conditions. This was overembarrassing. The toilet bowl was dark with stains and never cleaned. All it takes is a pumice stone and it's done. Also themain sink looked it hadn't been cleaned for over a year. Another review or two mentioned this as well. This is pureembarrassment and shame on the franchise owner. You need to get in there and clean it. I am reporting this to corporate andalso reporting on TikTok unless this is addressed within a week. I will continue to take pictures and frequent your store tomake sure you address the issues. Start taking control of your store. The overall appearance is disgusting as well to includethe windows, doors, carpet and chairs. Here are my recommendations, have the staff clean and clean again focussing on thepoints above. You will feel better and so will the guest frequenting your store. Thank you."

"When we walked in there was one customer being helped and 3 employees. One was assitsing the customer and we waited to be approached and no one came to us so we ordered our sandwhiches through the cashier. They move REALLY slow. The sandwhiches weremediocre. I usually come here because Togos makes good quality sandwhiches but today was horrible. First it took a whole 10minutes plus to make 3 sandwhiches (cold ones), the table was disgusting which I will add a photo so you can see that no onewipes down the tables. We also bought ice cream and it seems like they are cheaping out on the ice cream quality. I have comehere for years and the quality took a real dive."

"While nothing was outright bad, it felt like the prices had increased while the portion sizes had significantly decreased. The salad was barely half full, and the sandwiches were mostly bread with just a small amount of meat. They tasted great, but the portions were incredibly disappointing given the price."
