"My family has been dining in and ordering takeout from Happy Wok for many years. Everything is made fresh, and they are very flexible with substitutions. I love that this Chinese restaurant focuses on traditional dishes, especially since many people overlook the fact that Chinese cuisine is much healthier and more varied than just the usual sweet and sour chicken. Having lived in East Meadow for over 15 years, I've seen our community's outlook improve significantly, and I hope everyone continues to support this fantastic establishment with enthusiasm. I highly recommend it!"

"The food at this restaurant was excellent, bursting with flavor and made with fresh ingredients. It was clear that the dishes were not sitting out for long periods of time. Their wonton soup is the best in the area, with thick wontons and a flavorful broth. The chicken flat noodles were also outstanding, with small chunks of chicken instead of large fatty pieces. While the prices were a bit high for the area, the quality of the food made it worth it. The service was quick and the staff member who took our order was very friendly. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant several times a month. I highly recommend it."

"I came here from out of town. Ordered a shrimp and broccoli combo with 4 wings. Paid about $17. Went home started to eat my food. Saw something kinda small thinking it was a piece of shrimp I put it in my mouth. Instantly my body felt weird the suspected shrimp felt weird on my tongue so I spit it out. Man I looked at it saw some MF EYES!!! It was a ROACH!!!! I sat there in disgust contemplating my whole life. Immediately called back explained to him what happened he said ok come back I’ll give you a refund I came back he waited until all the other customers left to say let me see the food I gave him the food. He immediately seemed to know where the roach was told me it was broccoli soft and covered in sauce… I said that’s not broccoli he said yes it is went to smush the roach with his fingers then acted like he ate it but I seen him throw it on the side of his mouth to the floor he said see I ate it! I said no you didn’t it’s right here on the floor I’d like my money back he said are you keeping the wings I said no thank you then he gives me back $16 and some change not even full amount I paid"

"I came here for two days to get my lunch. on the second day I go to get my food, I asked the dame at the theke to put grill sauce over my wings and frying and get a sauce on the floor because the day before my wings don't get soaked on the floor and was dry. she got mad at me, then stop putting the sauce on my eating to ask me if I will pay her a dollar extra for the sauce. she's lucky I didn't just cancel my order over a .25 cents extra sauce. nice to say I won't be back. I don't need my lunch with one side of the job."
